I'd say, after attending CMNO, that participants who don't know basic networking, will not benefit from the CMNO course. That being said, CCNA is not a requirement. Only a recommendation. I attended the CMNO with a colleague of mine (Solutions Architect in datacenter), and he struggled a bit in navigating the dashboard, and typing things in correctly....
