Did not work 😕   The error does not make any sense, we are not using IPv6, and we have even tried to disable all IPv6 on the switch. Sorry ... "no SLAAC for you". - all interfaces have : "ipv6 nd ra suppress all" on them .... I made a mistake in our lab (because we are moving things around at the moment). OK ... so .... right now ... *sad* ... .. It seems that clients I have in the default route table are actually working. But ... *sigh* all the IPv6 routes I created in VRFs are NOT working. Well there is a route, learned from a dynamic routing protocol, but its still not all the IP interfaces on the switch that have internet access. The usual management interface (the one that has internet access) is of course not the ones that are used for the routing (if that makes sense). ... View more

Im happy to report that IPv6 and VRFs are working as expected. Now if only I could just create a interface on a MX that could be something less then a /64 for a small router net (between the MX and the Catalyst switch), that would be lovely. - I know we have "enough" IPv6 adresses, but setting aside a /64 just for a link net .. seems ... excessive 🙂 PS: When setting up BGP routing you cannot select a VRF, you can see the VRF option after, but it is greyed out.  ... I think i broke UAC. I had a static IP set on a SVI on my switch for mgmt, and of course a "uplink" config on that interface in the UI. By mistake I configured another port as a routed port with the "uplink" checkbox checked (this port has no link), so of course the switch went offline. Should UAC not "save" me here, but trying the other interface at some point ? ... View more

So what you are telling us, is that if we want to try this NOW (with all the new features), we should, basically, get support to revert our current cloud-managed IOS-XE Catalyst switches back to normal "catalyst mode", then we can manually upgrade the switch to 17.18.1 and then we can redeploy it to the dashboard in cloud-managed. 🙂 ... Sorry I just downgraded the customer who had been automatically upgraded instead of creating a case. Unfortunately then they lost 6Ghz on their WPA2/3 SAE/PSK networks, but better that then having an unstable network. - But of course we would really like a fix 🙂 I could create a case for my lab network, but that would be "cheating" I think. ... Yeah there seems to be something very wrong with the latest 32 that was not present in the previous 32 release. Just had a customer call me, they where automatically upgraded yesterday, and now they have a lot of failures, most likely, as far as I can see, related to DHCP. They have a mixed environment with some MRs still, but are migrating to CW APs, it seems, and im not 100% sure, but it seems to only affect CW APs. ... View more
