I have a question, for the MV12, can you make a mix of recording mode ?, that is to say that from 7am to 7pm of the day record continuously and from 11pm to 7am record by movement?
Motion based retention is a global camera setting and would apply to any schedules you create. Schedules only enable/disable recording entirely, so unfortunately what you're looking to do isn't possible today. I would recommend giving 24/7 recording with motion based retention a try - it works very well and will likely get you a good bump in overall retention.
