I have no experience with Meraki display however I do have experience with AppleTV's and I have found that apps which stream video i.e. Plex, Netflix etc seem to lose connectivity at times requiring you to exit to the menu and in some cases restart the entire device.

Since SM is going EOL I would suggest updating Apple devices to OS26 and then using the migrate MDM function within ABM and ASM to move devices to a new MDM solution once you have chosen one. If you plan everything well then migrating between MDM's is pretty seamless.

You apply licenses to a network not a device. SM is going EOS soon so I would start looking for alternatives so that you are well ahead of the curve and have plenty of time to plan a migration to another MDM.

Can you please explain your networks topology, Airplay uses Multicast traffic to advertise itself to devices and if this is blocked you will find it won't work. I would start by putting the client device and AppleTV on the same subnet and confirm that works first. I always suggest starting with the basics first.

Just a quick heads up to those who use Apple ABM or ASM and volume purchasing. It seems that the Meraki dashboard no longer automatically syncs licenses. So if you purchase anything you need to manually sync VPP.

The only thing that is close to what you are wanting is the ability to add a footer to the lock screen but thats useless for a device running as a kiosk.
