@Refyne I have never seen this behaviour with any of the devices I manage. I suggest opening a support ticket but I would take screen recordings from a working device and a device that has the issue. It could be a developer issue as well so maybe reach out to the app developer.

If you are wanting Syslog check out this documentation and make sure that it covers what you are wanting to capture. https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Syslog_Server_Overview_and_Configuration Meraki use to offer free trials of equipment (not sure if they still do or not) so I would reach out to your Cisco rep and see if you can get something to have a play with.

Be able to have firewall rules with Ports 100% this. Almost every other option on the market has this. IMO the MX needs an overhaul as it's not keeping up with its competitors.

I have a MV that overlooks my front door and part of the street. I have an AOI configured right in front of the door but the MV is capturing every car that drives past even though they are outside of the AOI. That is my issue with motion detection, I have no interest in motion alerts I just want motion detection to work.

This is off topic slightly but you really should be updating your server from Windows 2012 as it's not longer supported by Microsoft. Given this is providing the authentication for your network you really want it to be secure.

For me I would change the way motion detection works on MV so that only configured areas of interest can trigger motion detection.

@Jd1971 it seems like ADE doesn't know what MDM you want to use for the devices. In your ASM/ABM instance if you go to Preferences and then MDM Server assignment have you configured your default MDM for each device type? See the screenshot below. If you can't configure a default MDM this way because you use multiple MDM's you can do it per device by clicking on the devices from the Devices menu and then clicking Edit MDM Server

@imome9a validating based on your dashboard isn't an option, whats to stop the same process being used by the person who stole the information? Proof of purchase is the only method for a reason. Sorry for the situation you are in but think of it as a life lesson and not to trust anyone on the internet.

@cmr correct. I had to double check to make sure I hadn't missed anything. You can split an org but there is no such thing is sub-orgs.

A bit of a rant here, last few days of work with a lot going on and I have 20 iOS devices I need to refresh so I erased the devices using the below options. Now the command went through but not correctly. All it did was remove the enrolment profile and not erase the device. So now I have the manually erase each device using configurator and start from scratch. It's my fault for trusting the system but a word of warning for anyone else looking to use this feature test it with a single device first. Note: All devices running iOS 17 as required.

Interesting, I have the same issue on my MacBook Air with MacOS 15. The time is took to draw correctly was significantly less though.

Whenever I look at the reports page for my MT sensors the top portion of the page has formatting issues and if I leave it for a few minutes it comes right on its own.... I'm using a Mac with Safari 18.1.1 When the page first loads After a leaving it for a few minutes.

I would not recommend relying on a wifi based IOT sensor for fire protection, get a proper hard wired system that is serviced regularly. Our fire protection system sends me an SMS when a panel is activated and when it's been restored. Had a callout on Wednesday just been and response time from fire service was 11 mins from activation to panel reset.
