WiFi Availability Schedule

It would be a good feature if we could set up a schedule for the availability of our guest network. This would prevent members of the public (non-customers) standing close to our premises outside of business hours specifically to use our guest wifi - having several 'youths' hanging around the building at night doesn't look!

@David7543 & @delfuego -

Please submit "network scheduling" as feedback through the app as this will help us prioritize upcoming and roadmap features.

While network scheduling is not yet available on Meraki Go, the ability to set and utilize timeout frequency on guest networks with Meraki Go is a currently available feature.

This can be executed by following:

"Networks --> Select Network --> Settings --> Landing Page --> Click-through --> Timeout Frequency"

Needs to be a feature. SMB do not want their "Guest Wifi" available 24/7

Any movement on this? Timeout is not a schedule.

Many "consumer" level devices have more features. Please give us features we ask for. I have submitted this and other request via the app. We know the hardware is capable.

Hey @delfuego

Tagging @David7543 for visibility as well.

There has been movement on this! Scheduled availability of a wireless network is currently in beta. You can contact support to request to join this beta and let us know if there are any problems. We haven't noticed any issues as of yet, but would value your feedback if you try it out.
