@DC3 I don't think they are giving up, but the communication from corporate is pretty sparse. There is a recent post discussing the switches being replaced by a new model line, but very minimal details at this time, it's such great system, just needs the bugs worked out and some software updates and I feel like it's better then unifi for all small businesses.  ... We have deployed literally hundreds of the MR10 and MR12 AP and many of the firewalls and switches as well, it appears there is some pretty large amount of lag as to when a device updates the Meraki app or website. We have devices that are green and ready to use and sometimes up to 30 minutes later the website will finally update it's status, this has made it very hard to continue installing this brand when others in the market offer real time, while we love Meraki Go ease of use and setup. This restriction and what feels like lack of performance has forced us to stop sell of the hardware until we can get this resolved.    Does anyone know of any plans from Meraki to fix this or maybe it's already resolved in a firmware I don't yet have?  ... Exactly I’d you have the wan set to dhcp as required by the isp to an up from them, then you have to use their dns. I’ll request a feature.   ... View more

I have an interesting situation with COMCAST where the customer owns the modem, Comcast is giving them a valid IP, GW and SUBNET to use, however the DNS servers they have are not working/resolving. Comcast support is useless, I feel like Comcast is doing this intentionally to force the customer to use their rented hardware.   Meraki Go GS-20 and GS-50 won't let you manually assign just the dns and leave the IP, SN, GW to be Automatically assigned by the ISP that I can find, it's either all static or all DHCP. this means I can setup the client with a custom dns server but then the Meraki go hardware won't come online in the Meraki cloud.   ... @LNL02360 Yes, when I was newer to the ecosystem they do in-face default that mode, I always double check them after my initial setup before giving clients the passwords to the wifi, you picked a great platform. They have their growing pains but they have great hardware and they working out the software bugs.  ... View more

DNS Spoofing bug

I would love for others to chime in, every time I switch out the DNS on the Firewall Plus GS-50 Model, within a few minutes the users get errors that the site is not trusted/not signed correctly. Then when running DNS checks I get signing errors, taking the GS-50 back to the default dns (provider) resolves the issue.    Thoughts?  ... View more
