The others are correct in that when you bind the network to a template it will reset its IP.  However you can go back in and re-assign the existing subnet.  It will cause an outage.   I have done this many times when converting non-template networks to template networks. ... View more

Solve!  at least for me...   My MX is integrated with Umbrella and in order to make this work you must apply Group Policies to devices and the Group Policy must be set to 'Custom Network Firewall & Traffic Shaping Rules'.  This means any host in that group will ignore the Firewall rules and must be configured in the group.   Once I configured the rules in the policy all traffic was blocked. ... The other big issue is the iPad Touch doesn't have a GPS chip - so it can't report its real location.   It uses a simulated system of which SSID it is connected to and which public IP it is connecting to the cloud from to "guess" its location, but this is not something you could rely on down to a single building. ... You can do a bulk placement for devices on network per network basis via Network Wide -> Map and Floorplans -> Click Place devices on a map, mark all devices and choose "Edit" -> Geolocate -> Enter Address.   Don't forget to click "save device placements"  .   * Edit - this only moves the devices on the map to the correct map location, it does not set the address on the actual device.       ... From my experiences, there isn´t any slowness, performance issue or disconnection. But here, we only use laptops/iphones, nothing which needs really good "performance".  Asked my collegues yesterday as well, if they have had any problem since I installed Meraki next to Cisco APs, they said the same. Normal users don´t even know other APs have been installed and didn´t open a case.   To be honest, when I started with the MR33´s I didn´t think of any configuration for "rogue detection" or something else. So I didn´t configured anything and it is working. As I wrote, VLAN tagging is the only thing I configured (necessary) on both "worlds".       ... View more

If you are using voice/video sensitive applications over the wireless, then I would disable as it will most likely cause your fast-roaming to not be so fast, dropping voice calls etc.   To be honest Nolan this isn't a major issue for us. All that might go over WiFi is the occasional Teams/Skype call. Not much more than that.   I would basically just check the power levels, that is usually the reason if an AP is blasting and the others are not. You can change the Indoor Profile for the power level range, in case its still set to default values of 5-30dBm. You might want to close that up to like 11-14dBm for example, or whatever your initial survey results intended for.   TBH I can't remember what the initial survey suggested for power levels, I'll tinker and see what works. ...
