If you go into ASM you just need to go to the devices tab on the left side and then in the search paste in the serial numbers which will generate a list. Once you have that list you can select all devices and then you get the management for those devices.   If you are e-wasting them I would assume you'd want to Release from Organization which will remove them from ADE in Meraki the next time you update it. You want to make the changes in ASM as those will be pushed into Meraki. ... View more

I mean technically you should be able to download a list of owners and serial numbers.  Make your changes to owners and import the list back into Meraki and it would change ownership.   I'm having issues downloading a Current CSV for owners and devices to test this out. @BlakeRichardson and @Stuart2 ,   I just tested this out to see if I could recreate the issue and I was able to, once I put an Enrollment redirect URL into my settings. I was able to authenticate but got stuck at the profile install screen in the first message. I created the exact same profile without the Enrollment redirect URL and everything behaves correctly.    Don't forget that once the settings are pushed to a device the only way to test new settings is to factory/iTunes reset the iPad even though the iPad is not completely setup. Deleting the settings and then assigning new will not work until the iPad is factory/iTunes reset. I tested this out to make sure I was giving accurate information as well.   I have a MacBook sitting on my desk with Apple Configurator with a blueprint configured on it just for making testing like this easy so I just click a button and the iPad is factory reset. ... That explains why the password would still be present and visible. We have our iPads connect to an open WiFi that is restricted to just access Meraki and Apple networks to allow the iPad to set up and then switch to our normal student network.    Do you have more than one SSID being broadcast? Can you try setting up the iPad another network and then seeing if it works correctly and no longer shows the PSK?   ... View more

Yes, you are correct that windows does share PSK but iOS and MacOS does not share PSKs that are pushed via profile to enrolled devices from MDM.   I know this as I submitted a bug report with Apple when this feature was originally introduced. I've also just tested this with a MacBook and iPad and neither device is showing the PSK password when you look in the Wi-Fi settings. I also recommend disabling Share passwords over AirDrop as this will stop the sharing of wireless passwords between devices.   ... View more

There was an a bug when this feature was originally implemented which allowed pushed out wifi profiles to have the passwords shown.   I just double checked on iPads running 18.3.2. and 18.4.1 and the password field is not being displayed on my pushed out wireless profiles.    What is your process for connecting iPads to wireless to start? The reason, I ask is if you are hand entering the password then that could be the reason why it is able to be shown. ... View more

So I was able to just generate one of these -1 entries. It seems to only occur during the partial sync with Apple.    The other interesting detail is that it is changing the assigned date as well. I do not create a case when I saw this occurring. I just looked through ADE and I cannot see any more occurrences of the (-1) appearing. @rmohankmr Without knowing specifics, my guess is that they were setting up the devices on a wifi that had limited/restricted internet access and something in that was blocking the Meraki setup process.   When you are setting up the devices are you connecting them to a wireless network that is filtering traffic in anyway? ... Are these iPads 32 GB? I've noticed that the iPadOS size creep is real and taking a large chunk of that.   Also are you pushing out a set of apps to all iPads? Those can add up quickly. I try to limit my initial install of apps to an iPad to a minimum and having people download needed apps through the Meraki App. ... View more

Unfortunately with 32GB iPads you're not going to have a lot of space, especially if you didn't set a maximum number of users.
