Hello, I am encountering the following problem for a few weeks. Meraki MR46 and MR46E (firmware MR 31.1.5.1) accesspoints go suddenly offline and sometimes I can get them up when I shut the switchport and then enble it after a minute. sometimes the accesspoints stay dead, they are abroad so I can´t have a look at them. Sometimes they come up after many hours from alone. I have no power-saving or switchport-portschedule configured. No issues with MR42, CW9164I and other accesspoints. Anyone with the same behaviour?

No special cooling neccessary. Only a room air-conditioning. Its not too warm in the rack.

Hello, I can use a organization wide Cisco ISE radius server for MS Switchports but not for MR accesspoints. But I would need this. Is there any timeline when this will be implemented?

it´s a very small hole in the front side of the switch. You can push in with a pin and hold it for about 20 seconds.

The configuration is on the Dashboard cloud. So when you do a factory reset it will boot and connect to the dashboard and collect the configuration from the cloud again. Be aware that the switch has an free internet connection without any obstacles.

White color says : connected to the Meraki cloud Firmware up to date means not the actual possible firmware but the firmware of the network. Can you check on Organization - firmware udates if the firmware is pretented to a new version like MS16.8 or MS16.9 at least?

We always use trunk to the accesspoints, then you can use one SSID for internal VLAN, a guest SSID for Guest VLAN and one VLAN as native VLAN for the Accesspoints.

Still UDLD errors when connected to other switches (Meraki or Catalyst) with spanning tree and or aggregat. Helpdesk doesn´t know anything but today I had an phone call with an Cisco Meraki engineer and they know about this issue and working for an solution. How long it takes? I don´t know. 😒
