So why am I still not able to control via remote access/screenshot without the screenshot from above. I posed this question to support and they stated that I had to deploy my own PPPC and that @MattMorg was incorrect in his statements. Any solutions?

I wonder if this is an issue with Apple too, in ARD (Apple Remote Desktop) I don't see the designation either. On the machine, I do (new MacOS 13.3.1(a) and even the build 22E772610a).

"She's tried clearing old profiles" may be the key. How has she done this? Has this machine been enrolled in SM prior? Has this machine been removed from the network and/or had the SM Agent removed? Has this machine been erased?

Yep this is an important issue, also why is it macOS update are slow to populate. Currently we have to deploy 12.6.5 and 13.3.1 - and yet not all these populate in OS updates in a timely fashion. It seems a small ask to be able to push a OS update, and to provide a series of options; you can ignore x times before it is installed regardless, scheduling installation times and automatic lock out of network if not compliant seem reasonable options for a modern MDM no?

So the solution according to support was to select the "manage the unmanaged" check box, within the options section of the app list page. This worked but seems odd given the VPP app was installed as Managed to begin with, but hey if it resolved the issue…

And that's what I'm doing basically, but the applications fail to update. It would be great if we had the option to "keep app up to date" in macOS VPP apps but sadly that is not really the issue at the moment. Has anybody else experienced this issue? macOS 12.6.x and Office 365 apps via the App Store VPP.

So one would think this is a basic requirement for a MDM solution; install an app, update said app - done and dusted. Sadly I seem not to be able to do this of late. I force a refresh of VPP apps via the apps page; I choose an app and select "Out of date" and push "Install or upgrade." I get activity log confirmation "success" on the installation. And yet the app has not been updated on the target machine; rinse-repeat and issue stays unresolved. Why?

The main issue was CRC align errors, to which I no longer have any (hence issue appears resolved.) As to the Port STP and Status changes, these still exist for me as well. A gift horse issue no?

Well just when you are bored enough to swing back around and see if the current tvOS or Meraki updates, along with fairy dust, has resolved this issue - yes it has. I no longer see CRC align errors, nothing but a sea of green! Of course whom resolved this I do no know but it is done. Finally.
