2xSSID for different ISP (Guest and Employee)

Hi,

I want to separate my network for guest and employee and I have 2 ISP routers now.

Just want to know that can I create 2xSSID, one for guest, one for employee and map each SSID

to different ISP router?

SSID Guest --> ISP 1 router

SSID Employee --> ISP 2 router

Do I have to be careful with anything?

Thanks!

1 - map each SSID to a unique VLAN / subnet

https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Client_Addressing_and_Bridging/VLAN_Tagging_on_MR_Access_Points

2 - use flow preference to select which source goes to which wan

https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Firewall_and_Traffic_Shaping/MX_Load_Balancing_and_Flow_Preferen...

3 - don’t forget to make sure guest SSID users cannot communicate with each other.

Thanks!

Kind of a big deal

Have you got a switch which supports VLANs?

Yes, so one SSID to one VLAN 🙂
