The order of operations I used to troubleshoot this was: 1) Reboot switch with PoE subsystem problems from the Meraki dashboard. This did not effect any other switches except for a momentary stack election where it dropped a few frames. The MS250 came back up in about 01:10 minutes. The events were still occurring and still no PoE on switchports. 2) Removed the power input cord for one minute. Re-installed power cord. Brief traffic drop on the other stack members when switch rejoined the stack in 3:29 minutes. PoE was active on all switchports and no further events were reported. I could have just done a hard power reset on all the stack members but decided against that. If "it ain't broke"....

Yes, it was just this one switch. The next morning following the upgrade all Cisco 8851 phones (15 watts) were off with no PoE. Had to migrate all those devices to other switches of the same make and model that were not effected. Very random.

In November we upgraded hundreds of our MS250-48FP firmware from MS 16.9 to MS 17.2.2. Almost immediately after coming on line the switch began logging entries every minute: sample: Jan 20 09:40:39 PoE budget change PoE budget changed from 0W to 740W Jan 20 09:39:38 PoE budget change PoE budget changed from 0W to 740W Jan 20 09:38:37 PoE budget change PoE budget changed from 0W to 740W Jan 20 09:37:37 PoE budget change PoE budget changed from 0W to 740W Jan 20 09:36:37 PoE budget change PoE budget changed from 0W to 740W The switch is still forwarding traffic but there is no PoE available to any of the switchports. Trunks and stack association is all fine. Had to remove all PoE devices from this switch. After power cycling the switch to no avail a call was made to Meraki support. They indicated that we may need to factory reset the switch. I will be performing this later this week but was curious if anyone else has observed this behavior and if anything resolved it?

I am having trouble finding documentation on port assignments for SFP modules 13 and 14 on the MS130-12X. They appear to be configured as additional ports for use although I am not currently using them or testing them. If I configure these for optical SFP modules presumably it renders the MGBIT ports 11 & 12 unusable?
