Great video but I must have missed something. My Site-B is configured as 'Spoke' selecting Site-A as hub. Site-A needed to be set to 'Hub'. VPN status is green. Both IP ranges are different, one 10.10.... and the other 192.168.... When I map from computer/Site-B to share on computer/Site-A it will not connect as simply in your video. Using Windows 10. @JimmyPhelan good question, and like @PhilipDAth I had to check. As Philip notes, creating a user in one network makes the user available in others, but you do have to authorise them. I also checked with a MX65W, and any users you create are available on those devices too if you set them to use Meraki authentication (again, they just need authorisation).   There shouldn’t be any compelling reason to put all your access points into one network, but as Philip notes you can if you want for reporting purposes. ... In the PSA there is the Org name and the OrgID. The Ord ID can contain no spaces etc etc, and these cannot be changed after the fact. Mloraditch I am trying just to get one Meraki 64 to work on a policy based VPN. You should be able to tag the ports and then choose the tag to get an alert for.    So tag all the ports except port 9 as "port notify" and then on the alerts pages choose this (I've tagged certain ports for cameras):     ... View more

I believe what @JimmyPhelan is trying to convey is that Meraki Autovpn feature only works between Networks within the same Organizations, in terms of Meraki.   If you have MX'es at all locations, but they are not in the same organization, you'll have to treat the Site-to-Site VPN as third party VPNs. I have seen this too with interest, but I do feel it is distracting from putting a better implementation of SAML / SSO in place to the existing Dashboard. This sounds like DNS and similar to my internet experience up until recently. I had been using a 4G Huawei modem into my Meraki, and i had problems. Lots of them. All DNS related. If you want to use a script, I recommend Philip's generator.   I strongly recommend using a PowerShell script for Win10. I definitely recommend re-installing the VPN. This doesn't really cover what we are looking to achieve. What we are going to investigate is integration with ITGlue. We recently brought it in to the organisation, and we are going to try and leverage it.   While API calls are the beginning of the solution, they arent the goal. I think even in this case if we were shipping logs to an SIEM appliance / suite it would be the location to start interrogating too.   An item i would love to see broken down or dissected is the Summary Report. @Kamome reply is pretty much all of the options.   Would i be correct in assuming the SIM you have been provided is by your MPLS provider, so your data connection, even through via SIM, is being MPLS'd if you will excuse the expression. You arent going out on a general SIM card to a data connection and DMVPN or some such back into the MPLS?   The "C" series of Meraki routers are likely to be the best option, that and the MG devices. They will give you manageability of your WAN.   Get a trial of an MG and your desired MX and test it out. Get yourself lined up with a test SIM card from the MPLS provider and simulate it. I had never really looked at or considered a HA vMX setup. Its a VPN Concentrator when you boil it down. Same reason we dont bother backing up the VM in Azure. It is actually easier and quicker to just redeploy it and let the config come back down!   Now the problem with the above is a lack of automation. It can mean downtime.   Something that would be really awesome is a monitoring method that would trigger a redeployment of the vMX through powershell scripts.   I have a good few vMX in the wild, and i have not had a blip on them. I would be almost certain that it doesn't remove the config and this leads to a small bug (feature?) on the dashboard. If you enable something, for example, Client VPN, and you then untick the Client VPN Box, the Config doesnt go away.   This can cause you some very interesting debug/troubleshooting as the information is not present having been hidden by some lovely CSS! 🙂   Watch out for it, and dont take the Dashboard as 100% honest, as the item causing you trouble could be hidden ...
