MX100 Custom DHCP options

Some background:  I am thing about shifting local branch DHCP from the local DC to the MX100.

The local DC has scope options 3, 4, 6, 15, and 156 enabled (older ShoreTel / Mitel VOIP phones).

Question 1: If i want to shift DHCP to the MX100, Do i have add the scope options of whats being used locally?

Question 2: For example, option 156.  Would it something like this, with the configserver=10.0.X.X as well?

Thanks for any input

Probably I'm wrong but it could be "ftpservers=10.0.x.x, configservers=10.0.x.x"

Tested and got an error

There were errors in saving this configuration:

  • Double quotes are not allowed in text DHCP options.

Kind of a big deal

I believe value should just be the IP. Not sure if it accepts text input, but i've never tested it myself.

That looks correct to me.  They may not all be text fields though, so choose an appropriate type based off the old values.
