Issue downgrading MX100 license from Advanced Security to Enterprise

Hi everyone,

I'm currently running into an issue while trying to renew/upload a license for my MX100.

The device previously had an Advanced Security license, but I am now trying to apply a new Enterprise license to it. The dashboard isn't allowing me to complete the process.

I understand that Meraki generally doesn't allow a "mix and match" of license tiers within the same organization. What is the best way to handle this transition? Do I need to contact Cisco Meraki Support to manually adjust the license tier for my organization, or is there a way to do this directly from the Dashboard?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Contact Meraki Support to request the downgrade.

After support completes the change, you can apply your Enterprise license.

You need to open a support ticket. Only Meraki support can handle this.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
