Client Tracking Alerts - Not all clients visible

Trying to set up client connection alerts and only a handful of clients are visible in the pulldown. Is there a qualification I am not aware of for what clients are visible on the alerts page?

Only clients layer 2 adjacent to an MX can be tracked.
