Archived mx64 back in production

I have a MX64 that needs to get back in production with different External IP from when it was removed. Also my meraki credentials do not work as it was decommissioned prior to my credentials being made. I have tried SN w/o pw and that doesnt work.

 

Am i going to need to reset the device, login to local port w SN and setup Ext IP, make that change in dashboard, then plug in and let device read from cloud?

yeah sounds like factory reset is your easiest route 

Factory reset is best approach when putting gear back into production as it removes any potential issues caused by weird configs although with cloud managed equipment thats not fully achievable.
