Hi all, we have an MX95 in our branch office with 2 different ISPs. One on WAN 1, and the other on WAN 2. We build a 3rd party VPN with 3 Subnets to our Data Center (MX450 as a VPN Concentrator which is in another Organization) over the WAN 1 primary Connection. So far, so good, everything works fine. We want in case of a failover (WAN 1 is down), the same 3 Subnets should go via 3rd party tunnel on WAN 2 to the VPN Concentrator (MX450). Both ISPs (WAN 1 + WAN 2) have fixed public IPs. On the VPN Concentrator MX450, I can't put the same Subnet to the other public IP of WAN 2 to build a second VPN tunnel. How could I solve the problem or is it only possible for AutoVPN ?

I've installed the 18.210 in many Organizations, and most of them are okay, a few I had to go back to the 18.107.9 version, due to some VPN issues.

HI tcanty, at the moment we use VPN only at primary WAN Connection, secondary is in use for other traffic. We couldn't send any data as well. Hopefully in 18.209 or 18.210 it will be fixed.

a few weeks ago I tried 18.207, but is was very buggy and not working for me, because our servers in the DC are not reachable anymore (3rd party VPN between 2 MX's in different Orgs), switched back to 18.107.8 and everything works fine anymore. In 18.207 AND 18.208 the 3rd party VPN tunnel is shown as up in both locations, but no server is reachable via ping. MX18.208 has the same issues. I rolled back again to 18.107.8 and everything is fine again for me (MX85,MX95,MX100->VPN Concentrator MX450)

For this function, you must have a System Manager license. I would like to see more granular privilege management in the future. For example, a read-only or monitor-only privilege for a specific user only for MX and Wireless, but not for switching and others. For example a read-only or full privilege for MX and no access to all others menus.

We have also problems with 3rd party VPN connections (different Orgs) from all of our Branch Offices (MX85, MX95, MX105) to the Data Center VPN Concentrator MX450 all using FW 18.207. Rolling back to 18.107.7 solves the problem. Waiting for a better 18.2xx Firmware, where the VPN connection problem doesn't exist anymore.

Other ports get a green light when I connect a device, if I connet a device to the reverted WAN2 Port of MX100 there is no green light, nothing is shown as connected

Hi, This isn't AutoVPN issue, it's 3rd Party VPN, because of 2 different Meraki Organizations involved.. BTW: It's with each branch office to the VPN Concentrator in the DC.VPN Concentrator has NAT Traversal enabled. Latest FW 18.107.7 Patch works also fine, FW 18.205/18.207 doesn't

I've configured the Port 2 of our MX100 from LAN to WAN as the WAN2 connection, which is connected to a Draytek DSL modem. The DSL modem works fine, DSL Informations at modem side are good. The problem is that the MX100 shows the WAN2 Port as disconnected with latest stable FW 18.107.2 as well as FW 17.10.9 ( no green port icon).Cabeling checked and changed cable, but same result.We also change the DSL modem, but with same result. LAN/WAN port2 is enabled. What do you think, maybe the port is broken ?

Hi all, we've investigate an issue with MX FW 18.2xx. With MX FW 18.1xx it works fine. Our Branch offices with Meraki MX100, MX85,MX95 build a 3rd party VPN Tunnel to our VPN Concentrator in the Data Center MX450. With MX FW 18.1xx all Servers behind the VPN Concentrator are reachable via ping from the branch offices. With FW 18.2xx the Servers are not reachable anymore via ping. Has anyone else encountered this issue ?

@BlakeRichardson: I totally agree with you. Grant access based on the product type i.e. MS,MX,MR,MV,SM would be a great new feature and would help us in some Organizations/Networks (combined).

Hi, I've q question. We have a branch side with an MX95, WAN 1 is Fiber, WAN 2 is DSL, and in the Data Center an MX250-HA VPN-Concentrator. Because both are in different Organizations, we build a non-Meraki VPN-Tunnel from WAN 1 (MX95) to VPN-Concentrator(MX250-HA). Everything works fine and the tunnel is stable, but what will happen, if WAN 1 will go offline? The tunnel is not built over WAN 2 (DSL) in case of a connection loss of WAN 1 (failover), right? WAN failover and fallback behavior are set to graceful. Is the only possibility to build the tunnel in case of loss of connectivity of WAN 1 and failover to WAN 2 via dynamic DNS?

Thanks but I know these functions. The problem is,that with Organization access set to "None" or "Read-only" and access to Network set to "Full", the problem is that the designated collegue has access to the complete Network (SD-WAN & Security, Wireless, Switch ect.), but the collegue should only have access to SD-WAN & Security section, not the Wireless and Switch section.

Hi all, Is it possile with Meraki for a designated person or group only grant access to the "Security & SD-WAN" or "Switch" or "Wireless" options in a combined Dashboard environment ? For example, a security collegue grant access for Firewall rules and VPN configurations, but this collegue isn't allowed to change wireless or switch settings.
