Haven't personally used this API endpoint but after taking a look at it i'm going to have to say no.
There doesn't seem to be a way to cancel this specific field within Meraki as you are trying so I do not think the API would be able to comprehend what you are trying to do. I'm assuming if you make the API call with the field empty it will just do nothing, so from my understanding, the answer to your question is no.
