When you log into the Meraki dashboard, you’ll now have the option to turn on colorblind assist mode across the entire dashboard. In this mode, green, yellow and red have been replaced with blue, orange and a new hue of red.    In our research and testing, customers said using blue instead of green made it easier to see that the status of their networks were “good” at a glance. Orange was created to make it easier to see devices that need attention, versus light yellow, while keeping it as different from red as possible. There are some minor changes to text and user interface colors as well to improve readability.      The color changes make it easier for customers that are color blind or have low vision issues, but also are helpful for customers working in low light situations.    What are the benefits?   Easier to see the status of networks at a glance Easier to quickly see devices that need attention Better in low light situations Easier for color blind customers to see the difference between status colors   When will I see a change?   This feature is available now! We’re thrilled to invite you to join our exclusive private beta program for the highly anticipated Cisco SSO (Single Sign On) that will be rolled out to most Meraki users in early 2024. The beta program will start in late July to early August 2023, for a select number of customers prior to the public release of this new feature.   Cisco Single Sign-On is a common SSO experience that enables users to sign in once and use multiple Cisco platforms. Meraki is launching an all new dashboard experience focused on simplicity and intelligence. The new dashboard is cleaner in design, more intuitive to use, and makes it even easier to see what’s happening within networks. We’re doing this to help customers accomplish more in less time while also making it easier for them to stay on top of all aspects of their networks.        Starting today, there will be easier navigation within the dashboard, as well as new switch and access point pages—with a new client page coming soon. The dashboard also features improved performance, including faster screen loads for the new pages and quicker refresh rates for up-to-the minute status information.   More than 40% of customers signed up for the beta program and have enjoyed this new version for the past few months. We are excited to announce that we have added the top 11 requested alerts to keep you in the know while on the go! Many of the alerts not only tell you that something happened, they now tell you specifically what happened so you can stay updated at a glance.    Here are some of the top benefits of the new alerts:    Learn when configuration changes happen and exactly what changed.  Know when a rogue AP is detected so you can take action. Get informed when network usage exceeds a set threshold so you can do something about it while there is still time.  Notify your security teams when alerted that Malware has been blocked. SP-Initiated SAML Single Sign On (SSO) is now available for all customers on the Early Access page in the dashboard! This is a fully cross-compatible upgrade to existing Meraki dashboard SSO that allows customers to now use two different types of SAML SSO for the dashboard to best fit their deployment.    This also means that SSO login is now available for the Meraki mobile app!
