You should be able to set up the users with access to certain cameras and/or feeds, so that they can log in and access the Vision Portal and leave it up. Hi DouggieFresh,   How's this solution been working for you ever since it was deployed?  You mentioned you needed to create a separate network for the MX84. I have reviewed my setup like 4 times with no luck..   The documentation seems to be missing something or be incorrect as the other walkthroughs I found said I needed to use a policy based gateway and the Meraki instructions said routed.   Issue I found though is that policy based only allowed me to use a basic gen1 vpn which is not compatible with IKEv2.   Stuck on this one. ... I'm in the same situation. We have one large network and need to break it down into smaller networks. We have an access control list to create in Meraki that will block communication between classroom VLANs, but it will go well over the 128 limit. Our next option is to break up the network into several networks. I wished we could use network objects in the ACL's and that would solve our problem, so we could combine multiple CIDRs in one object.    The base network settings I can clone, but the switch's port configuration gets wiped. I need a way to copy a switch's port configs and restore it to the same switch in a different network. The Python scripts sound promising but I'm only finding a script that copies the port config back to the same switch and network. We may be able to use the script and move the port configs.   Any luck on figuring this? This is a feature that Meraki really needs to add. We have over 50 switches to move and that's a lot of work reconfigure all the switch ports.  ... View more

I completed my replacement process. Very smooth using the clone option for a single switch or clone stack member for a stack. You cannot clone stack members during production because it instantly removes the old switch and adds the replacement to the stack. However, you can clone an entire stack and power down the stack and power up the new stack in a single process. I did claim and new switches and power them on for a couple of hours allowing them to update their firmware and to cook a bit before actual installation to make sure they didn't have an immediate defect. During the physical replacement of the stacks, I would add the static IP information so when they powered up, they were 100% done. The dashboard usually would show an error about the switches not being part of a stack for 5 to 10 minutes after they came online but they worked and that error naturally went away. All very smooth other than having to physically do it which is a pain to find appropriate downtime for a network of 2500 users. ... View more
