IP management,

Hello,

I currently have an MS425-16 version 14.33.1.

In my MS425-16 I want to configure an administration VLAN (20) so that my different devices take an IP from this VLAN.

But I also want my MS425-16 to take an IP from its own VLAN, I have told my MS425-16 to take DHCP from this VLAN (20) but it doesn't, I also assigned it a static IP but it doesn't take it either.

is it possible for my MS425-16 to take IP from its own pool???

As explained in the other post the management VLAN for your switches can’t reside on the core. For installs we typical use the upstream firewall and place the L3 interface there. Works a charm.
