Devices registered 6+ months ago not checking in

Hi

 

We originally onboarded devices back in late Jan / Early Feb of 2020. They sat in a box until now, but when we go to power them back on they do not check into System Manager. This is happening across multiple devices we've tested. Is there a stale out period, or something else we need to enable to fix this communication problem? Newly registered devices have no problem. Our certificate did not expire as the entire system manager network is less than a year old.

@cmtj73  Have you just simply powered up the devices or have to turned them on and unlocked them. I have found after a period of time devices stop receiving app / profile updates until the device is unlocked. 

 

This never use to be the case and its a bit of a PITA if i'm honest.

We found we had to restart the devices at least once or twice.

Meraki refuse to acknowledge this as an issue.
