New UI - Firmware Upgrades

Hi ,

The new view for firmware upgrade is out on my shard :

Would it be possible to set a static window size for the release notes ? It's annoying to cycle versions and having to follow up and down the Previous / Next version button.  One windows is 200px in height the next one is 400 and so on. The position of the buttons changes on every page. Not sure if my explanation is clear or not

Yes I did leave a feedback 😉

3288 critical networks and 1 warning to be concise.

Usualy more than that !

Those 3288 networks are MX 19.1.9 which got flagged around Jan 27-28 as critical since 19.1.12 is out. I'm not really a fan of that feature tbh. The version is stable and secure

Internally a few of us have already mentioned the window sizing and previous/next button positions being problematic.

I'm hopeful it will be improved at some point.

This type of feedback is helpful. Keep it coming.

This is one of my gripes, does the UI team have a QA/QC group that reviews these sorts of changes?

I do think in general GUIs are going backwards.  Not just here, but this is a perfect example where there used to be pictures showing you what you were looking for and now you have to read small text.  To be honest it is looking more and more like a command line, just without the responsiveness, very disappointing.

I also don't like the varying list length where items disappear if they are not available, or not deemed relevant to your organisation.  For example this organisation has Device Configured C9300s so has an extra line for 17.15.4, whereas an org with only Cloud Configured C9300s only has the CS 17.2.3 line.  Even when they are both there, it is not clear at all that the 17.15.4 applies to Device Configured only...

I guess the randomness is simply teething issues as the RC tab is ordered completely randomly, has some of the missing labelling, but an odd selection of what is and is not RC:
