Hi there. The cellular device connects to the "Internet" port via a Ethernet cable and I've configured DMZ and MAC address specifics on the device so others cannot simply plug into one of the other ports to bypass security. I instruct the staff on site to reboot the entire package to be certain. People that use these services have a wild range of technical expertise so I find the "comfort zone" with each site. Yes each network has been configured under a template composed of a MX65 and a MR33. Each site is accessed remotely via the webpage interface. I had found this in iOS 11.0.2 - The workaround is actually quite simple; push an iOS update and try to remove again. The problem here is 'USB Restricted' Mode, so a dumb charger (wall charger) should be used. A PC/Laptop etc is a smart charger. I hope this helps! Thank you, Peter James

@MerakiGuy90 In the two schools we have implemented the 26.2 release, we have seen our connectivity issues decrease significantly and performance is better than on the 25.13 release with MR34s. We likely would have rolled all of our schools to the 26.2 release already but state testing has had to put those on hold until after it is completed.

@NicolasGoulet Unfortunately not that we can see. Meraki support on the other hand can research the issue and help get it resolved. I would definitely open a case with them as soon as possible.

@PeterJames Yep, I am very aware of the USB restricted mode setting, the moment I saw Apple was releasing that feature I wanted it off. I disabled that on all of our iPads the moment I was able to with Meraki. I very much want the ability to plug in my "FrankenCable" to connect an iPad to clear a forgotten passcode/iPad in lost mode that has been restarted. I have also turned on the Turn the Date & Time 'Set Automatically' feature to ON and disallow user disabling setting as there have been several times where students have "broken" their iPads by mucking around with the Date/Time settings.

Long shot. Is this AP near anything that could sink or reflect a lot of RF? Examples are water, wire mesh, tinted windows, metal with lots of edges or points, etc? In desperation, would it be possible to re-locate the AP a couple of meters away from where it is now, even with just a patch lead for 24 hours?

Even with supervised iPads I've noticed it seems to be 30+ minutes before a device flips from online/now to offline/last checked in.

My issue is on ~13 MR18's, all on 25.13. No other WAPs on the network (although plenty of others in the building polluting the air). Hopeful that maybe a firmware update is out there - is there a way to force the beta on, or is that not a great idea with outstanding bugs? Has been quiet due to Easter, so not sure how the issues are right now - I changed a few settings last week out of desperation.

@jm_peterson The overview section of systems manager will show a break down of OS versions, you could manually click on each version and apply a tag that way. You would have to constantly keep it up to date though.

@PeterJames I haven't seen any specific mention of it in any documentation. Just from experience, I have seen apps auto-updating on iPads since 12.1 was released, this was behavior that never worked previously even with apps set to auto-update. For example here is an iPad running 12.1.4 which had the app update trigger.

Update - we have noticed that some of our handsets have now received the Android 9 update, this has solved our Google Maps issue on the updated handsets. Just a shame there is no way to force the update on the other 85 handsets!

Make sure the ports are enabled. On my MX65, the ports supply two MR33 without issue. It is my understanding that the ports are dynamically powered. If they don't sense a power draw, they will not supply power.
