I haven't noticed anything like this particular to MR34. One organization I manage has over 100 MR34 across 4 networks that have been updated regularly and are at 28.6.2 now. I'm curious to hear back what you find out. I wonder if it could be POE related? Have you check POE budget and usage on the switch? Maybe something to do with "green ethernet/poe/EEE" that might try to put them in a power save mode?

The MR36 has a coverage pattern where most of the signal goes sideways, and a bit up and down. Perfect for mounting in offices on the roof where it spreads out sideways along the floor, but doesn't waste energy trying to punch through the floor or go up into the roof. Depending on how long the warehouse rows are, sometimes you can put access points at the ends of the rows and use a directional antenna to pump the coverage down. This works great if you mostly want WiFi at ground'ish level (such as in the cab of a forklift or humans walking around).

I think your max power settings are set too high, normally you would want the max to be between 17 and 22. Too much transmit power leads to one way communication where the client device can see the AP, but doesn't have enough power of its own to reply. What power are the APs actually at?

Hi, We checked, and the country/region is still correct. I will check to see if there are particular DFS channels that seem to have issue. If so, I will try to disable those and re-enable the other ones. I will also disable 40 and 80MHz and leave only 20Mhz, as it is a really dense deployment.

Bit of a wild guess, but maybe the iOS devices are using ipv6 only? I don't think client VPN via ipv6 is supported except maybe in the most recent beta releases.

Lenovo even suggests removing RDC if you have frequent wireless disconnects on their support pages, so I'd definitely do that. Further research suggests it was a Windows 7 feature that never made it to significant use and is generally recommended to be disabled as it slows down file transfers on any modern connection. It was designed in the era of 802.11b/g networks and trying to make the most of minimal throughput. Enabling it on a machine with WiFi6 is nonsensical!

The only place I can think that might be is if you are using splash logins. Check wireless > monitor > splash logins and I think you can force a client to authenticate again.

For each subnet, there should be a separate VLAN. Clients in a particular VLAN should be plugged into a port that is assigned to that VLAN. You can use something like an MX or a layer 3 MS to perform the routing. https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Networks_and_Routing/Configuring_VLANs_on_the_MX_Security_Appliance I'm going to guess you have a lot of devices, so you would need managed switches (like an MS) to be able to say which switch ports are in which VLAN. If the MX does the routing then you can use lower-cost layer 2 switches.

I’ll second what @GreenMan states. You have to renew what you require otherwise you’ll be immediately out of compliance. This did catch me out in the early days. Quite embarrassing having to explain to a customer why after spending X amount their Organisation is out of compliance 😬
