Over the last few months we have had two MX75s and now an MX65 experience the same issue where the round power plug that connects the external power supply to the main unit has become very sensitive to knocks. In al cases if you knock it slightly when plugging or unplugging a network cable into the port next to it, you hear a momentary tzz and the unit reboots.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so was a replacement unit needed for a failing power socket, or did a replacement power brick do the job? Or did you just leave it thinking 'I'll be careful with that one next time...'?!
Solved! Go to solution.
Oh .. you mean "this" problem 🙂 - https://youtu.be/ZFHifjW4qyc?si=r4SzwyGq_nHIwdE9
That was a brand new MX68.
(PS: I might have , kinda, promised never to show that to anyone ... but here we are ... 🙂 )
Yes. We had this issue on a lot of MX65 in the past !
Couple ended up in RMA
My recommendation is to open a Support case and request a new power supply

Thanks @thomasthomsen, it is exactly that. Did a new PSU fix it, or did you need a new unit?
New Unit.
