Hi @aws_architect no I haven't seen this with our Mac OS or iOS devices. Have you tried uninstalling the agent on an affected machine to see if the problem goes away?

The eaiest way would be to add in an allow all rule in the short term for the affected device. Other than that I dont recall any quick bypass option.

Are the tests you are making performed on the same band with each AP i.e. 2.4 or 5Ghz, you need to make sure you are comparing Apples with Apples. Meraki as Phil suggested will have features that consumer models wont have.

@stevenwhiting I haven't had any issues registering devices running 1803, have you made sure the ports for systems manager are open on your firewall. I dont want to assume your using a Meraki MX so thought it is worth mentioning. Are you transferring a single 200mb file or lots of files that equal 200mb?

@Bogge equipment does have an operational lifespan i.e. you dont hold onto outdated equipment just because it still works, if that was the case I would still be using 10/100 hubs....... We donate our old equipment where possible and recycle the rest. Anything thats broken or faulty is thrown in the skip.

Given MX switch ports are not configured in the same way as MS units I would say your are not missing anything and this is likely normal behaviour.

@Julian96 if you are trying to connect the Meraki AP to another branded AP's wireless signal then this isn't possible as far as I know.

Have you tried speaking to support, I haven't had much to do with Android devices in SM but if your not getting the expected result I would open a support case.

While my OCD wants me to use captials my team and I have found with Meraki and other systems that uppercase letter tend to cause isues when searching so we only use lowercase.

Owch, thanks for sharing that I wasn;t aware of such a delay. We are reviewing our CCTV systems in 2019 and Meraki is listed as a possible solution, this delay is something I will have to bear in mind. Thanks

Nice thanks for sharing this, I have also noticed that when creating tags you can have a two different tags which are exactly the same word but one lowercase and one with uppercase and these do act as different tags for Example Tag 1 : Macbook Tag 2 : macbook

@RickBeareSA I haven't seen this but not surprising that IE doesn't work. I'd suggest using Firefox as IE is stuck in the 90's

Hi @Filippo as far as I am aware you cannot force this as it required an adminstrators password to install and required going through the installation steps.

Agreed, after all the hype about CloudFlare and how quick it was compared to Googles DNS I have also found it performs poorly. I used it for a day before switching back to Google.
