I'm not sure if others have this issue but for me using the new UI to manage SM devices is simply unusable, searching for devices either using tags or by typing I just get 20 seconds of the below, once it's loaded if I add a character I get another 20 second wait. I'm now forced to use the new UI because feature like updating the OS aren't in the old UI. This delay is causing huge operational issues that the decision has been made to migrate to a new MDM. I suspect the new UI is not able to cope with the huge amounts of data that is displayed with end user devices. Even reducing the amount of columns displayed made little difference.

I'd go back to basics and confirm that your entire domain is receiving emails and rule out any issues with DNS and MX records.

Usually with software update delays devices won't show any updates within that 90 day period so the user cannot manually install the update. I don't know what happens if you command devices to update via the dashboard but I would assume if should still fail. I would verify that the devices have indeed got the software update restriction applied. You can do the via the settings page in your Meraki dashboard and clicking on the settings, it will then show the install status for the devices that the policy applies to.

HI All I remember in the past whenever I purchased app's via VPP that the licences would sync across to Meraki within a few minutes. Now each I by app's I have to manually run a VPP sync otherwise hours later the license info still hasn't refreshed. Surely it must be possible to be able to have it automatically sync every 15 mins?

@KFoster I am not aware of any documentation that lists supported MDM features for the different operating systems. Also if you have found a bug please report it via support so that it can get reviewed.

Try this utility. https://github.com/jamf/PPPC-Utility I have started seeing vendors provide a mobileconfig.profile for users to upload to their MDM that contain all of the relevant settings so hopefully Cisco does this soon.

@Dudley5526 I had staff reporting the same problem yesterday, as a work around we used the ADE page to adjust the device name, tags and owner. I suspect the UI team are working on updating this page and have broken something.

Not sure about profiles but I use the app often when I am on the go between comms cabinets and need to make minor changes i.e. name a port or change VLAN.

I would suggest using the tools tab under the AP's settings to ping Googles DNS and see if you get a response.

Wow that is a work around and a half especially if someone has multiple devices to enrol. Has anyone tried loading via configurator and not using ADE?

I don't know much about subscription based licensing as I have never used it, the documentation suggests the minimum term is 36 months but I would suggest having a chat with your Cisco account manager. https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Licensing/Subscription_-_Licensing_Overview
