@BlakeRichardson yeah both renewed a while back. network same as before. error message: "Could not authenticate to the MDM server. The credentials within the enrollment profile may have expired."

@Mahi_Meraki_guy ok, removed device from network, removed profiles and removed SM agent. Attempted re-enrolement via m.meraki.com and got an error message about expired cert when attempting to install profiles. huh?

Thanks all, as soon as I sent this it dawned on me the changes outside of just the serial. Sometimes asking a question helps in other ways. Well now I know to unenroll prior to repair. Thanks again!

Just a quick question, has anybody else had the experience of having a logic board replacement resulting in repaired machine not being seen in dashboard? iMac with new logic board, serialized correctly, but machine has not checked-in since return to office.

You have purchased the App via Apple BM and synced to VPP in Meraki SM>VPP, have you added it to Apps in SM>Apps as well, I think I did this via import (same as all apps)? And purchase method shows VPP Device assignment yeah? R.

Sometimes it does take a while, I'm thinking success is the acknowledgment of the queue to download the update. Sometimes I've had to re-apply the update, as I feel the update queues, downloads and sometimes sits. I wonder how often Meraki SM polls back to see if the update is actually installed, because sometimes the client will be updated but SM will show the older OS and still offer the current, already applied, update. It's these little things that I feel that let the SM product down. Meraki needs to run a team to look at these annoyances because all in all it makes for a product that promises a lot but fails to deliver on many fronts, not to mention remote access.

At this point where it is, matters less to a potential resolution (I really have no idea why I put it in Endpoint 🤔.) So as long as a solution is forthcoming it can go wherever it may.
