morning all just an update, Cisco TAC have taken logs a couple of times and apparently kicked the issue to the WIFI 7 specific team. I also noticed new AP firmware today MR 32.1.5, I might load on a couple of innocuous access points and test, can always roll back right?

I am not implying that it is supported. Simply stating numbers. From what I understand, 20 ms RTT is the requirement between AP and CCG. Is it a hard limit? I doubt it, so with longer RTT it would probably still work. From my understanding, it's possible to have the MCG assigned one network, and have APs on several other networks, all connecting back to the same MCG. That way, sites can be segregated, and all still have one exit point, much like the Local Mode APs we know today on 9800 platform. Of course, the APs need to have a way back to the MCG. Whether this is a routed link or a VPN connection, who knows. As long as there is a route back, that is not Internet. All I'm saying is, will it work? Likely, yes. Is it supported? No. As is the case with most corner-case Cisco deployments. And if it doesn't work? Too bad, it should have been tested in a POC before deployment.

Jumping on this as well. I'm seeing the same thing on a number of my MX75's all on 19.1.11. Seems to be a visual bug also as I can speed test much faster. Anyone else seeing anything similar?

It's good to see this feature in the dashboard. Is the ability to set variables only available through the Beta programme? Should they not at least pull the 'generalised region' values from https://www.electricitymaps.com/? Silly question, but where do you request to be added to the Beta?

I am also having problems withe client names being accurately labeled. My config. Home Network running MX-68 MS120-8LP MR42 (multiple) I have many devices wired and wireless connected to the network. My windows laptop is using a wired connection and is displaying a MacBook device (which is also on the network). I dropped the wired connection re-established a new IP wireless. Meraki provided d39addb3-612d-43f1-ac23-e2dce09b0dc7 as a device name. It did correctly identify the device as an Intel machine. I re-connected via wired and it reverted to showing a MacBook device with the previous wired connection. The IP is not static. Suggestions?

Have you tried rebooting a Yealink phone since the MTU change? Have they do something dumb and only negotiate it on the first connection.

Yes, it’s definitely possible to use MPLS as the primary link and keep SD-WAN as a failover on Meraki. The setup is actually straightforward once you configure routing correctly. :https://community.meraki.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/102579 e.g. this post How to Set It Up 1. Build a static route for MPLS On both MX devices (hub + spoke), create a static route that points to the MPLS next-hop. Mark it as "active when next-hop responds" so the MX automatically disables it if MPLS fails. Because it’s a static route, it becomes the preferred path. 2. Keep SD-WAN VPN enabled as the secondary path SD-WAN will continue forming VPN tunnels over the WAN ports. When MPLS drops, the static route becomes inactive, and the MX automatically shifts traffic to the SD-WAN VPN tunnel. 3. (Optional) Use VLANs if needed If MPLS comes in as a Layer 3 handoff (not simple LAN), you may need a separate VLAN or transit network. But if it’s a simple handoff and you want it clean, you can keep your basic setup. 4. No extra hardware required Your MX68 → MX95 hub/spoke setup works fine for this design. MPLS acts like a LAN path to the hub, while SD-WAN is your internet-based fallback. What You Get MPLS = Primary route (preferred due to static route) SD-WAN = Automatic failover (when MPLS next-hop stops responding) No manual switching No added equipment Simple, stable configuration for SMB

Hi , According to this document the answer is no https://documentation.meraki.com/Platform_Management/Troubleshooting_and_Support/Support/AI_Assistant_for_Networking but : However, the functionalities within it follows the tiers of the underlaying features it is leveraging. For instance, if PCAP Analysis is an Advantage tier feature, you only get it in the Assistant if you have Advantage tier.

I'm curious since TLS decryption is available on C8xxx routers in SD-WAN that they will once again try to make that available in MX mode.

Can any of you try a port that is down/disconnected ? Ports that are Up are working on my end , only ports that are down are affected. odd..

Thanks for your input @pjc On some sites before we put in CW9172's we did deploy some MR36's and these were almost the same in terms of coverage with the MR33's. Therefore we assumed (wrongly) that the CW9172's would be the same or similar, but looks like we were wrong and the CW9172 do not perform as well.

For what its worth. We disabled 802.11be and and have been stable(ish) from a roaming / client association standpoint. At least the phones stopped ringing. We are using CW9176I WPA3 2.4 / 5 / 6ghz radios enabled on MR 31.1.8. Tuning off BE was the biggest impact for stability. Now why did we pay for WiFi 7 when we can't use it... Maybe one day....

@Oren , @MinseK We are going to enable AI-RRM on a large Organization ( 5100 APs ) before the end of the year. I'm still wondering if the raw data will be available via API. I'm trying to "sell" this licence/feature to management and prove this was a good investissement. I can see that we have these graphs directly from the dashboard : Having these scores via API would help us a lot.
