Is it possible to create an admin that can only send wake-on-lan requests to clients?

Hello,

We have a situation where we occasionally need to remote into a user's desktop that is powered down.  The individual that usually handles these desktop maintenance tasks is not a network admin, but occasionally needs to send a WOL request to an endpoint in order to log into it.  Is there a way to create an administrator in Meraki that can only send WOL requests without having any other permissions?

Only admins with broader permissions (such as full network admin) can use the Wake Client tool to send WOL packets.

If you need to delegate WOL actions without broader network access, you would need to use external tools or scripts outside the Meraki Dashboard, or have a network admin perform the task.

Meraki Dashboard permissions are based on organization‑level and network‑level roles, not on individual tool functions.

You can create a restricted network admin with limited switch access.

I don't have any great solutions.  Two options to consider - write a Python script to use this feature, and have them use the script.

There is a Merai Partner that provides a paid service that provides fine-grained access control like this to the Meraki Dashboard.  Alas, its name escapes me.  Meraki used to have a dedicated marketplace for these partners, but alas, since it got merged into the Cisco marketplace, these solutions have been drowned out.  It will be in this marketplace, but even though I know they exist, I can't find them.
