Hi, I have an issue during the creation of a VPN with a non-Meraki device: the counterpart's network (192.168.7.0) overlaps with my local network, and they cannot perform NAT on their Fortigate. Is there something I can do to resolve this situation on my Meraki, considering my local network is directly connected to my MX?

1) How does replacing my MX85 with an MX84 affect my configuration? 2) Does changing models result in LAN interfaces and SD-WAN being initially disabled in the Dashboard?What else? You are right but....if teh fortigate has a network untugged and the switch interface has a vlan 3 as native...it works....but AP side...if i set nativa vlan 3,trunk all.. doesnt work. it works when i use vlan 1 as native on the switch interface towards the AP

I need to Swap a MX64 with a MX75 on the same network but im concerned about a possible Client VPN issue. I mean..if the client connect to the hostname of MX..and i swap the firewall...is the hostname changing or it's going to keep that one? I mean: MX64 has a hostname: Test-mx01-edge-bkerjmtnkijc.dynamic-m.com if i swap the mx the hostame is going to stay the same? mauro

HI all, i on-boarded my catalyst 9300 into the dashboard Meraki and everything went according to plan but once appeared in the Dashboard i received an alert saying "Device is running an unsupported firmware version." At the moment i have a "cat9k_iosxe.17.12.03.SPA". Whats the image range i need to have? Thanks

The issue is that the switch Meraki even if i configured the vlan3 as native(management) on the switches..still have the vlan 1 as native bx default.. so the interface connected to a Ap see traffic not-tagged arriving from the fortigate and since the vlan native is 1 (default) it associated as it.What a shenanigan!

Issue: my MR33 dont get an IP or sometimens they get it properly and afetr 30 sec htey get 1.1.1.1 Topology: Fortigate ---> switch----> AP Considering that i have a native vlan 3 (configured on my Fortigate L3) and my switch ports configuration are TRUNK,native vlan 3,tagged all. All the vlan are correctly configured everywhere i dont know what the issue is. But...if i change to config in the switch ....configuring native vlan 1 instead of 3, they get an IP. ideas?

Hi all, i configured a Client VPN linked to a Radius serve(windows server 2016)r that use a AD as a database. At the moment it doesnt work. Is there a updated procedure to follow regarding this authentication Client VPN with NPS/AD? i checked this one : https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Client_VPN/Configuring_RADIUS_Authentication_with_Client_VPN_IPsec but it doesnt work. Hi , ive got an issue with my cameras Meraki MV33. basically i connected 10 of them and most of them reach 1Gbps auto-negotiation. few of them instead auto negotiate 100Mbps and 10mps. To be clear: it is not a cable issue.Important to know,Camera are working HD quality even if low band so i dont have a real issue. How is that possible? What could be the issue that differentiate one camera from the other? Thanks

Hi, is there a way to create a L2 vlan on the meraki switch? i mean,the classic "conf t, vlan 10" on Cisco switches. I have a third party firewall connected to my MS250 which is my core. Im trying to understand how to configure it to create the layer 2 toward my access-switches (MS 120). I suppose i need to configure a TRUNK in the upstream uplink but how can i tag the vlan L2 in there if i havent configured them? Thanks. M

Yes,sure. Basically if i try from MAC i have no issue.. Couple of hours before a was showing a client the configuration of my VPN. Since i wanted to show how it was done from the scratch i deleted the VPN and started to re-create. I configured it like the previous one. Tried many times to connect but couldnt. After 20 minutes trying do understand i decided to reload the laptop. First try i was connected. My client has got lots of this issue...all with Windows...and al work perfectly after reload.

Ive got this issue: i configured a VPN using the built-in configuration on Windows. Sometimes doesnt work and need to reload to make it work. I wonder what other alternative i got that can be compatible to connect remotely to VPN Meraki. OpenVPN doesnt seem to be the correct one and not willing of configuring Anyconnect at the moment. Any other option can download and test? thanks Mauro

I probably understood what you mean.. You are saying that if i move from A to B... in B the configuration will be empty. Thats ok,i knew that but thanks fro telling me again. I already configured the B organization with the same configuration i have in the MX in the Org_A so moving from A to B and B to A would be kinda transparent
