No, not really. That'd be a violation of privacy. What you could do is either a) ask the old MSP for a read-only account so you can grab the config, or b) ask the old MSP to run @PhilipDAth's backup script. Then you can tweak the resulting script so it'll load onto the new equipment you've setup.

If your people on the road use Windows 10, check out the PowerShell scripts in my signature. They're about half comments, most of them instructions for changing it from all users to single user, but I try to explain what each segment does. We haven't had problems with the MacOS native client in the latest iterations of said OS. >>Me too. We don't allow that. MSP life. I enlisted every possible person in the chain between myself and the client w/ the AS400, and... no dice. I still worry.

For 4G to work you would need a static IP from your carrier - and very few carriers will do that.

I agree - we put the MR55 in our new building and have had nothing but issues but the AC gear in our other buildings have no issues

We are working on hardening our os and also retention periods on our video cameras. We need to set policies and get better pc to be able to utilize the camera feeds

@cmr I've been impressed by it at customers who've had Sophos fw. Very easy to use, and the client has a nice traffic light icon that makes it relatively clear if you're connected or not.

It looks like I fixed it. I looked around for port openings for O365 and found som other stuff. Then i tried this: I opened port 80 in the FW with the VPN-Network as source towards the server. And the customer got back to me and told me it looked OK now. But they are doing som testing today.

Solidarity on the "Meraki unless". "Unless you need VPN NAT, a mix of IKEv1 and IKEv2 tunnels, you're probably gonna use this vendor that needs X feature..." and a couple other things, we fit most of our MSP clients into Meraki. Easier on us. On the VAR side, well, we get people who know what they want and people with more complex needs.

Network survey can help identify active client numbers. My particular company drops Auvik in to find as many things as possible, but there's a lot of available tools! We just use Auvik to monitor MSP client networks so... two birds, one stone. Two polar bears, one stone?

"Simple" fix is usually to append 0 in front of two digit numbers. Try it in Excel. It's... relatively easy to do with a script, but if you dunno how to code, could also click through rapidly or make an intern do it.

The OSPF implementation is odd, and works a bit differently on MXes than it does on L3 switches if I recall correctly. I do know people who are using it though. I don't see how K value tinkering fits into the general design thinking behind Meraki kit, honestly. Where's that going to go on the dashboard? I wouldn't expect IS-IS either. If you have basic questions, I usually go to the document base and pop the basic keyword into the search bar. That's all I did here, besides make jokes about EIGRP.

You can use a single NIC configured for 802.1q trunking. I haven't used Hyper-V in a long time, but basically you end up assigning the VMs to the VLANs. This would connect to a trunk port on the MX65. The other option is to use a NIC for each VLAN, which goes to access ports on the MX65 configured for the appropriate VLAN.

Was just researching this exact question... I think... So if I have a VLAN and corresponding SSID set up for the management of my Sonos speakers and I want to be able to get on that SSID/VLAN comb from out of town and run the firmware update on my speakers, VPN wont let me do that, is that right? Like I couldn't use the VPN to act like Im on that SSID.... right?

Nash, If you are not on the local LAN you may need to go to the Network-wide>>General>>Device configuration to enable local status page access and set a password. Also may need to check Security>>>Firewall>>> Security appliance services and verify allowed remote IPs. Then access the MX from its public IP.

Under traffic analytics it only show you application to destination. Only way i can see this happening is via packet capture

If you can't change the routing protocol in use to OSPF or convert to static routes, you're not going to be able to use the MS250. EIGRP is Cisco's special sauce. If EIGRP is required, I'd see if you can get your money back.
