Keep in mind that you may be seen as a rogue on a network and be subject to containment just like Meraki Air Marshal would.

If you are in a greenfield scenario (networks and MX's haven't actually been deployed yet) you could accomplish this using the "Unique Subnetting" option in the template which will then generate unique address ranges for each network based on the parameters you provide. The other possible option would be to use the Dashboard API interface for Networks and Group Policy which I would not recommend you do if this is your first attempt at using Dashboard APIs unless its a greenfield as well.

What device do you have? At home or at work? On an MX or Z* you could look at Security & SD-WAN>>Traffic shaping rules>>create a rule for Gaming/Xbox Live to have a higher priority than other devices.

I sold my PA-22 Piper after flying it down from Alaska. I made the decision not to be casual with flying. The good news is that two of my three sons are pilots and one of them is an active commercial helicopter pilot. Last year I rode along with with him ferrying a helicopter from Alaska to Louisiana. He picked me up in Spokane Washington and I got to see the USA at just a few hundred feet.

That's a good question. I haven't found anything in the documentation that says that it won't work either. Makes me think it will work. If your setup is super critical I would call Meraki support and just ask them. Otherwise try it. The Dashboard will generally kick out a warning when you try to save a configuration that is not supported.

Just off the top.. * You would be adding an additional point of management and touch. * vlan management would not be as straight forward * loss of integrated packet capture on the WAN ports * No more concentrating SSID's to your security appliance I may be biased 😃
