Hi Can someone explain to me how the two dc's are communicating, i dont know why this is so confusing to me. I am looking for the same topology as below but with MPLS and DIA for both DC and branches why are the Datacenter services connecting directly to the L3 core routers?

Hi Team, can system manager meet all the below requirements A secure portal for BYOD users to enroll and provision their devices Centralized security policy enforcement. Remotely lock and wipe data and installed apps - Inventory devices, operating systems (OSs), patch levels, organization and third-party apps, and revision levels. Distribution whitelists and blacklists. Permission-based access controls for access to the organization’s networks and data. Selective wipe and privacy policies for organization apps and data, i.e., sandboxing. Distribution and management of digital certificates (to encrypt and digitally sign emails and sensitive documents). Role-based access groups with fine-grained access control policies and enforcement. Over-the-air (OTA) distribution of software (apps, patches, updates) and policy changes. Postpone automatic updates from Internet service providers (ISPs), e.g., in cases where an automatic OS update may cause critical apps to fail Secure logs and audit trails of all sensitive BYOD activities Capability to locate and map lost devices for recovery. Backup and restore BYOD device data. Remove or install profiles based on geographic location, to ensure compliance with relevant foreign legislation, e.g., data privacy and security

so from what i can gather from below, the dhcp is working and it is changing every day as the lease time is set to 1 day. So if you want to give a machine a static ip, you would give them an ip address in the 192.168.1.0/24 range

does he want to create a site-to-site vpn? he might be looking for your public address, which might be static or dynamic depending on your ISP. Please try and get as much info as possible

then you can give him a static address in the range/vlan he needs. so if you MX is 192.168.8.1 and your first pc is 192.168.8.2 and your printer is 192.168.8.3 these should all work fine. Then if you need to add another device on the network, you give them an address in the same subnet e.g 192.168.8.4 otherwise keep the address assignment to dhcp, and they will get assigned an address automatically and what is he asking the static address for? for new device on the same network?

if it is wireless the below doc explains it well https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Client_Addressing_and_Bridging/SSID_Modes_for_Client_IP_Assignment#Bridge_Mode If your devices are plugging directly to the mx ports under dhcp setting you have the option to run the specific subnet as DHCP or tell the MX not to respond to DHCP request and assign them statically on your devices, in my case my subnet is 192.168.8.0/24

The DHCP assignment wont break your network, the DHCP lease period dictates when the IP addresses change So when the IP's change, everything should still work

You can use both DHCP or Static addressing DHCP - easier to assign addresses because its not manual its automatic Static- if you have a small network and want granular control you can statically assign addresses

Manageable via SNMPv3, supports snmp trap messages Support 802.1q The firewall shall support syslog protocol for reporting events? Continue to log events while under attack (DOS, DDOS, etc) THe FW should support DNS functionality for local host that resolves uo to a public DNS
