Update: With Public Beta 6 I was able to install the Profile correctly, my iPad is correctly identified on the Dashboard right now. Looks like it‘s working fine.

You had the 90 day option checked which means 12.3 cannot be downloaded as its still within the 90 days. If oyu disabled the delay completly then it will download the latest available version which is 12.4 What you have seen is normal, if you change you delay window to something smaller you will see that you can download 12.3 Apple recommends against using the 90 day option as they release updates earlier than the 90 day period which means your devices would never update.

Hi @PhilipDAth one last clarification, if I setup the account per user, will the meraki require log-in once connected to any SSID of my MR and will not be able to use the network even if someone knew the password for any SSID?

Well , long story , I'm fully aware that Meraki products do not fit us at all. Also our 500-600 MX are all in configuration templates so the less we mess with it , the better. Thanks for the suggestions the public IP is always my last resort ( and I have used it in the past ). Preconfiguring our MX is always the best idea, but since we are a big company it's not always easy to keep track of everything. I might close this thread since there is no way to configure a mgmt interface. Thanks !

@Uberseehandel I don't have a flash enough phone to have USB-c, a quick Google search doesn't list any USB-c modems either. Some vendors still supply equipment with COM ports, I think what it comes down to is what is the basic requirement of the port, why spend extra money for a port thats not needed.

Hi, I opened a case with meraki support and after of a serie of suggestion, it worked one: 1) Go to Security & SD-WAN > SD-WAN & traffic shaping -- Uplink statistics, you may use the 'Add a destination' to add 4.2.2.2 but keep the default 8.8.8.8 *I had the default 4.2.2.2 and I added 8.8.8.8 keeping the default* Now I can see the summary report complete.

For what it is worth - in certain networks we have placed camera's on the LAN - No VLANS present. Without any issues

I do hope they will support MST at some in the future. In scenario’s where clients don’t want to pay for stacked switches in the core you have a single STP topo without the possibility to load balance VLANs across it.

MX devices have two types of licensing, Enterprise or Advanced security. MS Switches on require a dashboard license Licensing comes in 1, 3 or 5 year options. Sometimes Meraki do have specials where they will give you an extra year for free and it usually works out cheaper if you be a longer license as well.

I have factory reset and still doesn't work. I can ping from another switch which is odd and status page works if I am on that VLAN. I have triple checked the VLAN tagging on the uplink siwthc and have had a co-worker check it as well. The switch is also only happy if I use 8.8.8.8 for the DNS even though the other switches are happy if I use are internal DNS....

I agree with all of the above. The big thing for us is infrastructure. We ditched our last server in 2007 and all of our services are hosted. Meraki was one of the first to offer a hosted MDM suite and is one of few currently offering a camera suite w/o the need for an NVR. The cost is a little more, but for a smaller team makes more sense in my eyes.

Take it to Apple, but make sure it's an Apple Store not an authorized Apple repair service. Apple won't charge for diagnostics but an authorized repair service will. Or try RecoveryTool Fix Recovery.

So I initally connected a cable to internet 1 to make MX reach the cloud, once configured 4G , I proceed to take same Ethernet cable and plug it into internet 2. MX fails onto 4G and I proceed to power the equipment a few times , I needed to leave that cable between wan1 and wan2 connected all the time but i lately found out that it was a code issue so you technically dont need to have it at this point.
