If you remove/delete a device from the dashboard it does not take up a license anymore. New devices should be able to show up in the dashboard.

@rock3t_singh Perhaps traceroute outside from behind your MS120 and see which route it follows outside. OR Are u able to ping your dynamic hostname of your MX? You can find it under Appliance Status -> Hostname It should be visible under your WAN1 ip. If this does respond, configure your VPN with the DDNS.

Hi Richard, the "default" traffic shaping rules were not there before, therefore we had to create them manually. Cheers, Ben

in the change log filter on (page:licensing) I've seen entries there for a few networks, not sure if this is consistent.

let's get this topic back from the dead. since IkeV2 is in beta (other topic) perhaps we should get the attention of Meraki to have a look at sourcenat.

I know this probably won't help your case but you can always purchase an MR. 😃 I'm not really familiar with unifi, had a look at the dashboard once and found it being quite messy but don't you have an option somewhere to give the AP a fixed ip?

Sally, If the organization already exists you need to add you meraki admin account to this organization. After this you will see this org in the list If it's a new one you go to the MSP dashboard and Create a new org. Cheers, Ben

I know Meraki has had issues with provider power on the MS220 series. There were issues in the past where the power supply became mis-identified by the switch. I think they resolved it via Firmware upgrades. Check your event logs on the switches for "PoE budget changes" Something like "PoE budget change PoE budget changed from 740W to 0W"

if you are sure that your ip configuration is correct sometimes it's best to wait it out. Or reboot the MX and it should register itself in the dashboard. Give it some time. Sometimes it's the browser that "takes time" refreshing or showing the correct status. Rgrds, Ben

It's quite hard to seperate the facebook and facebook workplace applications. As mentioned above perhaps it's time to look at something more enterprise grade software for collaboration. Cheers, Ben

I can't wait for the Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist certification! But if the ECMS2 is coming anytime soon that would be great too!

@PhilipDAth wrote: Pure speculation - but 14.x is being pushed out like craxy to MX. Soon that means 13.x will dropp off as an option, which means 15.x can be added .... and 15.x has IKEv2. Are the firmware versions the same for all countries? I keep thinking we are behind on versioning in EU.. Stable release candidate 14.39 but beta => coming soon without version numbers of features listed.

Quick question, why in the world would you try to "manage" the MR42 with their local ip's? perhaps try dashboard.meraki.com, that should help. In regard to your question the following is possible: 1) local lan access is disabled and your SSID is broadcasting Meraki DHCP 2) local status pages are disabled in the Meraki Dashboard (see link above) - you can find this setting under Network-Wide -> Cofigure - General - Device Configuration Cheers, Ben
