Group Policy Equipment needed?

New to the Meraki products.

I found that I can apply layer 7 policies.   For example prevent a wireless client from using Netflix.

If I only have a meraki access point are these Group policy available for use.  Considering if I used some other non Meraki firewall and switch equipment.

Or do this policy feature work off a MX security appliance?  Can these policies work when the only Meraki devices in use are the access points.

Also can these policies be applied per client if using a built in Meraki client list or does it apply to only an SSID, or either?

Hi

I believe you are considering only Meraki Access Point.

Layer 7 policies are included with Meraki Access Point License. You do not require a Meraki firewall for this to work.

The L7 policies can be applied to entire SSID or you may create a Group Policy and apply to specific end user device too.
