I just found out the hard way that there is a bug in the licensing where the Z4 are not supposed to follow the org highest licensing level. I.e. Your MXs are SD-WAN but your Z4 is ENT. Its supposed to work that way where you can mix and match. However due to this bug, you cant add it with a lower license level and you need to call licensing. They will convert whatever you bought for the Z4 ONLY to whatever your org licensing is until they fix this issue.

It appears to want something selected even for the disabled SSIDs. So, just check any of the boxes for SSIDs 2-4 and it should save. They're disabled so it doesn't matter anyway.

I'd open a case ASAP and I'm sure it won't take that long as it would be anti competitive.

If you have a L3 switch at each site then you can do the below: Create a transit VLAN that is used only for the SMF links and has an interface on each LANs core switch. Set the default gateway on each core switch to point to the local MX internal IP Create static routes for the LAN IP subnets at the other two sites pointing to the IP in the transit VLAN for the site. For example site A has transit VLAN interface 10.1.1.1/24 and local subnet of 192.168.101.1/24 with the MX on 192.168.101.254. Site B has 10.1.1.2/24, 192.168.102.1/24 and 192.168.102.254 respectively. At site A the default gateway for the switch is set to 192.168.101.254 and a static route is created for 192.168.102.0/24 pointing to 10.1.1.2.

Thanks Meraki for the updated emails to customers: (the ones that ARE effected) You are receiving this email because you are currently using Meraki Cloud Authentication. Due to an approaching certificate expiration, Meraki will be rotating the RADIUS certificate for Meraki Cloud Authentication on February 8, 2023.

This may be related as it is the same hardware as Cisco.. (having same issue with Cisco hardware in CAPWAP mode) https://bst.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCwb86411?rfs=qvlogin Symptom:Wifi 6/6E AP boot hangs when the console cable is disconnected from the console server end, while the AP side of the console port is still connected and cable length is ~200ft Workaround:Terminate the far end of the console cable in a DTE (PC COM port, terminal server port, etc.) Made a little test cable.... Given console port pinouts: RJ-45 DTE Pinouts RTS(1), DTR(2), TXD (3), GND(4), GND(5), RXD (6), DSR(7), CTS(8) at the jack side, strapping 1 to 8, 2 to 7, 3 to 6, 4 to 5.

You can do it from the Meraki Local Status page. Disable and Enable. It is a total pain but can be done. Remotely you need to add your remote IP to the firewall to access.

Hi, you need to set up the separate system of each unit, like these smart lock have proper battery back ups when anything happen they function properly. You can also visit website for more details related to this where you can find out the more solutions of it. Sometime when you set up smart lock system in multi stories building then they are usually operate through one system and this system maybe divided into floor to floor and then it work properly.

Hi @CharlieCrackle, The MA-INJ-4 is an 802.3at Gigabit Ethernet power Injector. It is compatible with the MG family, but in the case of the MG51 will only provide 10/100/1000Mbps speeds. If you are looking for 2.5GE connectivity to the MG51, you would require the MA-INJ-6 which is an 802.3bt mGIG power injector.

If I have a CW-9166i in Cisco Persona, is the ONLY way to change to Meraki to join a controller that has DNAC working so you can do the Change persona and generate the Meraki Serial ? Is there a way that does not require controller and DNAC ?

I apologise if my reply was blunt but given the number of hospitals and health care providers that have fallen victim to cyber attacks there isn't an excuse for poor security given the large amount of personal and confidential data they hold.

Thanks Charlie. Just supporting your information adding that our switches have this behaviour also. Whilst we were resolving another issue regarding a DNS change in our network it is something that baffled us when it appeared in our logs.

Unless you can get Sensibo to improve their product, or give you some tools to manage their devices, I'm afraid there might not be much to do. It is the device that determines what AP to connect to and when it's time to roam.Had it been e.g. a Windows Client with Intel Wireless, you'd most likely have to options on the Wireless NIC to set roaming aggressiveness, making the device more prone to roam to better APs, based on the current RF environment. So if you'd want to have your Sensibo device to connect to a specific AP, you'll have to look into making that single AP look more favorable from an RF point of view, than the other APs. The adverse effect would be that it would make all other wireless clients try to favor that AP in stead of the rest of the infrastructure. Alternatively. you could create an Facility SSID called, say, HVAC, and have that SSID only broadcasted on tagged APs. In your case that specific AP in the computer room. Another possible reason could be that the AP in the Computer room is loaded, in terms of clients. Perhaps, it owuld help to disable Client Balancing on the Radio Profile. However, with that being said, is it really an issue that the Sensibo device is connecting to a different AP than intended? Does it have a poor connection on the "wrong" AP?

Elon Thank you. ====================================== To bypass the router, go to the App home page > Settings > Advanced Starlink App version must be at least 2.0.19 to work The toggle button on to bypass the Starlink router This allows you to completely disable the Starlink Wifi Router. You would need to utilize a Starlink ethernet adapter in order to plug in your own equipment. While Bypass mode is enabled, router commands will not work. If the toggle switch does not appear in the Settings tab, can factory reset the router and/or delete and re-download the app. App Message in red text when Bypass is enabled: "Bypass Mode will completely disable the built-in Starlink Wifi router. this is an advanced feature that requires a Starlink Ethernet adapter and your own network equipment. A manual Factory reset will be required to reverse this."

Customers using Starlink can run into issues using Meraki SDWAN if they use 192.168.1.0/24 The Starlink router uses 192.168.1.0/24 for the local LAN subnet. If your office uses 192.168.1.0/24 as well then this will cause issues for SDWAN and VPN Traffic Prior to version 15.44 you could have the WAN subnet the same as a subnet on the SDWAN the route on the SDWAN took preference. after 15.44 the traffic would go out of the WAN port and get lost. This issue was fixed again in 18.0.2 but requires Meraki support to do a back-end fix. The best solution would be to change the WAN subnet to a different range but this has been impossible. I recently had a Starlink at my office and with the help of support, there is a solution now. Starlink allows you to bypass the modem but you must have the ethernet adaptor ====================================================== To bypass the router, go to the App home page > Settings > Advanced Starlink App version must be at least 2.0.19 to work The toggle button on to bypass the Starlink router This allows you to completely disable the Starlink Wifi Router. MY voice MOS scores change changed from 4.4 to 4.2 when using Starkink and Packet loss was about 1% Starlink MOS score

I can confirm that feedback submitted via Firefox is received from the dashboard. I have run a test using the newest version of Firefox and I received the confirmation message on both current and future UI. Therefore you must have a local issue, try the usual, clearing cache, cookies, trying in incognito mode, disable extensions 1 by 1 to see if any are interfering with the process, and possibly reinstall the browser if needed? Best wishes ✌️
