I wanted to add additional information for others. Meraki's official stance is to work with the ISP/upstream router to disable IPv6. We are still trying to work with the multiple ISPs we have, but some are easier than others to have this disabled as most are dual stack.

Okay, It has reportedly been corrected and restored: "I have just been notified that the fix for the EMAIL/SMS enrollment link not working has been pushed out and it should now be working as before." - Meraki I haven't personally verified it yet because I already added the device I needed this feature for.

Keeping it on a managed switch will let you monitor how much bandwidth the other unit uses. If you go with a cheap unmanaged switch you can't tell who is using all the bandwidth later.

Adam's correct. Clone only covers layer 2 portion. What you can do is enable Layer 3 on the switch device, then move the L3 interfaces over from the old switches. In the Switch > Routing and DHCP section. You'll have to build the first interface and set the default route before you can move/copy the interfaces and any static routes. You will also want to make note of any relay settings. In the early days those didn't move either. I can't remember if they move now.

@Zilla Thanks for your suggestions. I now have the VLANs configured pretty well the way I want them to work. My next issues are to do with isolating "risky" devices into their own VLAN yet still be able to access their services, eg Bonjour or Chromecast. Virtually all the "smart" devices I have seen are woeful from a security viewpoint, so should be kept away from the rest of the network, yet some are quite convenient. Whether it is at home or work, I cannot see us having fewer smart devices in the future. So we have to be able to find a way of being able to live with them, securely.
