Hi Guys, I do not see any solution in this thread, also Meraki support is not knowing this issue. packet trace must give some answers to all our questions but it happens not often and not always. We are running an enterprise solution with 2 forwarded DHCP servers in our datacenter using radius authentication, no firewall rules and only seeing the issue on one specific SSID. Never had the issue before for the last 3 years. Both DHCP/DNS servers are up and running and are the most important servers in our environment, so 100% up Is there an article with the solution?

Hi, I want to use this call in Python scripting and get the trafficInKbps field for the last 30 days, but the param input value does not seem to work. please help, look like a simple solution ts=30*3600 (seconds) switch_ports_json = dashboard.switch.getDeviceSwitchPortsStatuses(device_serial, timespan=ts) or switch_ports_json = dashboard.switch.getDeviceSwitchPortsStatuses(device_serial, t0='30') None of these are working in my environment.

Hi, Because of the great amount of clients within our different networks in our organization(s) I want to fetch(get) client in small batches and not using [-1.all], but first 10 and then next 10 until end of all users. I'm scarred about buffer overflow 🤔 Unfortunately I cannout find information how to do .networks.getNetworkClients(networkID, total_pages=<-1,all>)

(Using Postman scripting) Hi, I'm trying to copy floorplan information from A -> B. Both floorplans are exactly the same (on different floors), but the dimensions(values) must be the same for location analytics calculations. Question 1: I try to copy dimensions, width, height, positions, etc * get Floorplan A information (See question 2) * copy values to script [Update A Floor Plans Geolocation And Other Meta Data] * put values to Floorplan B After copy and GET the values of Floorplan B are not the same, also the floorplan must be rotated a bit -> Any idea? Questions 2: When I request [List The Floor Plans That Belong To Your Network], all copy the information from Floor A When I request only one floor [Find a floor plan by ID] the content looks different ! => Is there a reason for that? (I am using postman for this case) When I execute baseUrl/networks/HP_NetworkID/devices the whole device-list in the network is returned. So switches, SDWAN and access points, etc. Question: Can I set (and how) a output filter in Postman to return only access points (like MR45)? Rob

Thanks for the link.... So it seems that all configured VLAN's on the SSID are breakout via the WAN interface. Cool! You don't need to set anything on the MX at all for this as it's just layer 2 for whichever VLANs you specify in the SSID config. Just make sure that the appropriate VLANs are trunked to the WAN interface of the MX and it should work.

Can you also try to go the inventory, select the mentioned AP's and then add these AP's to the selected network.

Hi, We need to adjust our design just like using Cisco classic with Wireless LAN controller. To do so, the SDWAN appliance needs to convert to VPN concentrator and a lot of options are disappeared. In the configuration of the SSID you select [VPN: tunnel data to a concentrator] with VLAN tagging: 100 (example) All set and done.... but The SDWAN appliance has only the WAN1 and WAN2 selectable which cannot be convertor to a trunk. Where can I find my vlan tagging 100 on the SDWAN appliance (breakout to the local network)

Hi, I installed python (and Pycharm) on 3 different devices but did managed to get meraki lib working. I did: python installation pip installation pip upgrade to 20.0.2 pip install meraki (and upgrade) pip install meraki-sdk (and upgrade) python <enter> # from meraki import meraki (see attachment) I also checked the site-package folder and see both lib's available in folder What is the magic?

Issue solved. I enabled native vlan and now BPDU packets are traversing the interface. All interfaces are up and running (and some are blocked as designed) thanks for helping ^RH

Hi, We have 2 data-centers/MER 1 MX450 every MER (warm spare) 2 MS425 every MER (4 in total) Firewalls are configured as warm spare and have both connectivity to internet WAN1 HA is fine via created LIII interface and management IP addresses. 4 switches are stacked (2 with stack-cable, between DC via port 32) 1 uplink cable from MS to MX in every DC This works fine so far. Everything is up but to minimum downtime we want to have uplinks from every MS to MX, but when I connect a uplink for switch 3 to the active firewall everything went down. I suppose RSTP will help to block one of the uplinks so no looping will occur. MX interface have: drop untagged traffic to MS enabled MS interface have vlan1000 as native VLAN, but no LIII exists (best practice Cisco) Does anyone know the answer to use 4 cables from stack to 2 firewall without breaking everything.

We are making a design to authenticate guest users via captive portal. The guest account has been created by de sponsor portal of Cisco ISE. Unfortunately, the captive portal is hosted in the cloud and authentication(validation) of the connected user is done via Radius (port 1812). The radius packet is traversing over the internet from Meraki cloud to our internal Cisco ISE nodes, but this is unsafe. Do somebody has a implementation which maybe is convenient for us too? ^Rob

We use Cisco ISE for authentication off all our devices in the network. We also uses VOIP phones with MAB authentication. After authentication the phone must be switched to the voice-vlan-40 (also using LLDP/CDP) I need the special AP-pairs from Cisco ISE to set this VLAN. Does anyone can help me?

Thanks, but no this is not what I am looking for. All switches has the same configuration, but users are assigned in different VLANs after authenticated by ISE. The designated VLAN is switch specific.

We have a lot of SER rooms (more then 30) in our office location, each location has assigned a user vlan /23 After authenticated a device/user, via Cisco ISE, the user must be assigned to the specific vlan on the connected switch. Cisco is using [show] vlan group command to select the vlan for that switch, but how is this assigned with Cisco Meraki? /Rob
