If you are using a USB cellular or the embedded cellular modem in the MX i don't think you can. However, if you have a Cradlepoint or other 4G/LTE router plugged into WAN2, you can do that. We learned from our SE that you can have Meraki Support apply the cellular failover rules to WAN2 so you can control what goes out over the cellular device. For sites where we do this we have WAN1 as the primary uplink, load balancing turned off, and have the Active-Active VPN set to disabled to save on cellular use. We take a brief hit while the new tunnels come up, but in our use case that's OK. If you can't take the hit you may want to enable Active-Active VPN, but you will consume more cellular data (use at your own risk).

I have a similar issue, but a different error. When sending SMS i get an "Invalid" error. I have a case open, but no real progress yet.

@Tom-B I ran into something similar recently. After pushing the profile to the iPads and tapping Apply profile i would get an Invalid Profile error. I had to disable AD authentication to complete an enrollment via AC2. After the enrollment was completed, I then re-enabled AD authentication.

Keeping it on a managed switch will let you monitor how much bandwidth the other unit uses. If you go with a cheap unmanaged switch you can't tell who is using all the bandwidth later.

I'm seeing a drastic difference in the brightness in the MR32s and MR33s. The MR32s are so dim they look like the have been unplugged unless you are right up on them. I'll open a case and see what support says. @NolanHerring Thanks for checking things in your environment, too.

Anyone else notice the blue lights going out be being so dim you can't tell the are on? Our were going along fine until the latest firmware upgrade, now I've had techs from two locations tell me the APs are off because the lights are so dim. I observed the same thing in our corporate office. When troubleshooting we blink the lights and they show up until we stop the blink. Also when we reboot the AP they are on until the AP is connected to the cloud again. The APs still service clients without issue. Toggling the network's AP LED setting to off and back on didn't help either.

@CML_Todd Be sure to get a demo and test it in your lab. We do some redistribution on the MS420s and they don't always act they way you think when you make a change to a route you are injecting into OSPF.

@Pete_RMOW when you are in the Routing & DHCP screen you can check the box next to an interface and then click Edit > Move and you can move the interface to another switch. The catch is you have to manually create the first interface before you can take advantage of this feature to move the others.

No, it only clones Layer 2 settings. The layer 3 settings can me "moved" to the new switch once you manually build the first L3 interface on the new switch.

Our experience is similar to @PhilipDAth. The other thing we do for new warm spare units and is the secondary goes into it's own network temporarily until it gets it code. After that we move it over to the primary's network. Depending how long your MX64 has been sitting on the shelf that may help. When we received our first batch of MX100s a few years ago the base code didn't support warm spare until after the initial code upgrade. We use this process for RMAs, too.

Turns out the issue was with the AT&T Premier online order. Even though our admin got an email saying the SIM was activated it wasn't. After some tweaking on the AT&T site, the card eventually activated.

@nwu1 With the trial you have to provide your own SIM. Since I was out of the office yesterday, I left it in the office powered on all day and it did finally recognize the card. However, I took the 14.34 firmware update and it's working. Not sure if our cellular admin did anything to the cell plan.

Is there anything special I need to tell AT&T to get the SIM card activated in my Z3C? I've tried two new AT&T SIMs in a trial unit i have and the Z3C doesn't recognize them. However, if i pop the SIM from my cell phone in the Z3C it works fine. The new SIMs are activated in AT&T Premier. Thanks in advance!

Basically, all the hosts in VLAN 2 are on this switch. So trunking to other switches isn't an issue. One of the 3 devices in VLAN 2 has IPv6 connectivity and the switch AutoConfiged and is trying to talk to Meraki on that VLAN. This is not desired. I'm not sure why the switch even tried to auto discover IPv6 when it has IPv4 connectivity. At this point, no IPv6 connectivity for management is better than any IPv6 connectivity. I want to turn off IPv6 management, but i don't see where i can do it.
