Its not really a factory reset as you mentioned its obtaining digital ownership. I would contact Meraki support and see if they can at least provide the email address they were registered against.   Even if when you do gain acces I would guess that if no one knows anything about them no licensing has been paid therefore you wont be able to do much in the dashboard until the licensing is renewed.  ... @Typhoon777 the CMNO course is for end users, you not selling Meraki gear shouldn't be a factor with trying to sit this course. I know priority for CMNO is given to people who are exisiting / new customers as opposed to people who are just interested.    That being said I don't know why you would have been turned down. Yes as Phil mentioned you either have something between the MX and MS unit. If not try rebooting them both and see if it comes right. If that doesn't work Open a support case.   Just another quick thought you haven't recently added the MS unit on the link thats reporting the error have you? it could simply be the dashboard hasn't updated yet.  ... Provided they both support the same link speed and are both multimode you shouldn't have a problem. Remember to guarantee support Meraki require you use their SFP modules. Palo Alto may have their own requirements as well.    Good luck! ... View more

I do suggest if you are screwing them into the ceiling tiles make sure you fix them into a piece of wood on the other side of the tile. I've seen lazy jobs where people haven't fixed them into wood and the AP has fallen off the ceiling!  ... View more

The does very much sound like a man in the middle attack or the admins have setup some form of DPI-SSL which they haven't configured correctly.    Your query regaridng the creation date o nthe app I wouldn't be worried, that will be the date and time the developer last updated the app. The creation date is when the file was originally created not when it appeared on your system.    Blake ... As mentioned Meraki is a GUI based system, there is no CLI. I suggest you familarise your self with the Meraki Dashboard before you jump into swapping the equipment over just to be safe, You dont want to rush things if you dont havea good understanding of Meraki.    Good luck! ... View more

@jdsilva  802.11R is related to wireless handover, I was suggesting that without it client devices make the decsion and often they hang onto accesspoints for longer than they should.   This is a common problem I have seen over the years. 802.11r is a feature to help reduce this.     In an education environment you need wireless handover to be as seamless as possible especially with a large campus.  Unless you haven't updated firmware sinc the Krack attack was discovered I see no reason why you wouldn't use this feature.  ...
