Reading your question another way; if the printer and client are physically connected elsewhere downstream and you're just asking whether you can configure a port to allow both of those VLAN's in Meraki switches, yes - setting it as a trunk port will achieve this.

Was there any update to this from the support case? Documentation as of Feb 2026 still states the Z license tier does not have impact the MX license compliance. I was in a "panic" because the neighbour advertised the default route. But you are right, the networks needs to be specific. But it still installed the default route when I had a 10.100.0.0/16 filter 😕 - With all the benefits of it being a higher priority for all spokes in autovpn ... thats where the panic came from 🙂 So something is definitely going on there.

I think the simplest answer is Essential basically equals Advanced Security and Advantage equals SD-WAN+, there is no option to have Enterprise licensing with Subscriptions. The documentation linked to shows the exact features.
