I know Google run their own certifcation testing, you book an exam, they give you a login for a mock Gsuite domain and then you have to configure various things. You have a time limit and at the end you click submit and their back end checks your setup and scores you based on the how you completed each task.    There is no human interaction involved, yes that means there is a risk of cheating however at the end of the day most people undertake training for their own personal development.   At the end of the day I employ someone based on their practical skills rather than their qualifications. Sure some people will try and take advantage of this however this is where provisional periods work.      Just because someone has a drivers license doesn't mean they know how to drive.   Thats just my two cents.   ... I depends on how you want to monitor your devices with SNMP. If you want to poll the devices itself, it is configured per network under Network-wide -> General. You can also query the dashboard which is configured under Organization -> Settings. https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Meraki_Device_Reporting_-_Syslog%2C_SNMP_and_API https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Monitoring_and_Reporting/SNMP_Overview_and_Configuration   ... As @KarstenI said, I would use both NICs for hypervisor and guests.  Tag all the guest VLANs and the hypervisor connection, then on the switch ports set as trunk with no native VLAN.  Alternatively an easier setup to get up and running, though a little less secure, is to leave the hypervisor untagged and set it as the native VLAN on the switch trunk ports. ... Also this message:   " Thank you for your interest in Meraki training programs. Due to heightened safety concerns around the global outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), all CMNA and ECMS2 training will be held virtually from March 16th - Jan 1st.   Those registered for ECMS2 and CMNA training during this time should expect to receive an email with information on how to access their session remotely. We want to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause attendees who have already registered and made travel/lodging plans. We understand that it is frustrating to cancel these last-minute.   Our top priority is to provide Meraki Engineers with the most impactful training programs possible and to do so in a way that supports the safety of attendees and Meraki trainers worldwide. We appreciate your cooperation and hope you understand that these precautions are being taken with the safety and security of our employees, customers, and partners in mind.   While Cisco continues to monitor the rapidly changing Coronavirus environment, our training team will continue to look for ways to adapt and ensure CMNA remains available to our Partners. Only on the WAN ports need configuring, and only if they don’t use DHCP (which is the default). You’ll need to power up the new MX, connect to the local admin page on the MX and set the WAN ports to match the existing MX - I.e. the static IP address or username and password if it uses PPPoE. The WAN port needs configuring so that the new MX can ‘talk’ to the Meraki cloud when you replace the existing device and pull the config from the cloud. ... View more

I would say that the MX100 is pretty fine for the next upgrade(s). We have an MX84 on a 1Gig connection. Obvious we can not use the whole 1Gig, but up to around 500 MBit all is running smooth. (The Upgrade from the previous 200MBit to 1Gig was nearly the same price as the Upgrade to 500MBit and a new firewall was not in the budget yet.) ... View more
