Maybe you have already done this but I'd be inclined to check the root bridge priority of all switches as the 1st task to make sure the MS425s reflect as the RSTP ROOT being the core switch as that could be part of the issue. Switching > Configure > Switch settings Configuring Spanning Tree on Meraki Switches (MS) I tend to use root guard at the MS425 downlink and STP guard set to disabled on the lower priority MS250s or MS350s uplinks.

MX 18.211.4 did improve one of my many MX75s that had been averaging 67% device utilization while running 18.211.3. I’ve yet to roll the dice on MX 19.1.5 and also curious about what others are seeing. I’ve had no high device utilization issues on the MX68s.

One idea if you are wanting to AVOID moving the MX from one network to another because removing the MX and adding it to a different network would wipe the current config....is to simply RENAME the current network to be labeled as the second location (network) and once that's completed with addresses or locations adjusted, create another network naming it whatever it was labeled/titled. Then move devices that wouldn't be as complex (such as switches or APs).

There is a warning given on the document link below that indicates the following (for your consideration): Removing an MX from its former network and moving it to a new network will wipe out the existing configuration on the MX, that it had from its old network.

Yes - you would likely want to make changes during maintenance window and configure each after moving the meraki devices to it's new network.

Hopefully I understand you correctly. You can select +Create a network to have 2 separate locations. And to move the devices or split would still need to move the devices using the Organization > Configure > Inventory to the new network.

Or were you referring to the physical address that is reflected for each device. That can be adjusted by simply going to each device and selecting the pencil where ADDRESS is at and changing it to reflect accurate physical locations.

Can you be more specific when you refer to devices sitting in different locations. Are you referring to Meraki devices or other devices with config/profiles enrolled for system manager? Hard to understand without knowing more info or details. In the dashboard, Organization > Configure > Inventory is where you would choose (select) a meraki device and on the RH side under action change it's network or organization if that is what you are/were referring to.

How about disabling the port for 60-90 seconds then enabling it? That's what worked for me. Hope it works for you too.

I just fixed my MR36 that had a similar issue as you described above. I turned off the port and turned it back on. Nothing else in the equation changed. Not sure what caused it to change to 1OOMB full duplex from 1Gig auto negotiate. But it fixed mine.

I had this same scenario occur yesterday with one MR36 with nothing changing in the equation. I believe it's possibly attributed to one AP that is rarely or seldomly used. Cables are good, firmware all up-to-date.

The ECMS is considered the ENTRY level training whether you are administrating one single instance or many instances. The great feature in the Learning Hub is that you a select what you want to go enroll in and take or learn about. Individual modules would likely help your in-house crew however they only give you a completion at the end when finished versus a certification. Hope this helps.

If you are need it moved from the test network to a different network or organization you would need to move it in inventory. In the Dashboard go to Organization > Configure > Inventory and check (select) the device you need to move and on the RH side select ACTIONS to Change network assignment, organization, remove from organization.

Public IP or Hostname is usually the Dynamic DNS of the other appliance (at least it is in my configurations or setups).

Remote ID field (if that is what you are referring to): This optional field is to identify the remote peer. This is to be configured when the Local ID of the remote peer is anything other than its Public IP.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with the Fortigate end of the equation but as long as the settings (or presets) match on both ends of the equation it should work. Maybe you can step through the settings to verify they match.
