@GAQS808 @I see various organizations with multiple vendor stuff and that’s fine. I even see companies uses Meraki Access points with Mist APs on different floors not sure why they did that.. May be sales pressure from different vendor 😀 but the overall infra is working very fine. So you are good to design whatever your requirements are and if you already have Poe switch with you then you don’t need that MS-120. ... View more

As per i saw in most of the Big organizations, Compliance team come up to always go with the version code on N or N-1. I always keep my network N-1 as it takes time to have stability on the newer version. But here yes we can mix match the various firmware like N-1, N-2 whatever we have in our production environment. I agree with @KRobert to always check the newer version on the Spoke site first and once we have stability of the version put that version across for uniformity.   Regards Inderdeep ... View more

@Riser : I never tested this but i think you can do that with RESTAPI from the Meraki and get the data in JSON format https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/mv-sense/#!rest-api/enable-api   And on other hand in PowerBi according to the content in the link that the API Reponses in JSON, you can get the data by using "Get Data"-->"Other"-->"Web". And then extend JSON to a table in query editor.   eg.   http://jsonplaceholder.typicode.com/posts/1/comments You can replace it with a link like "http://[school].myschoolapp.com/api/academics/department/?t=[token returned from previous step]" in your link. Regarding refreshing, you can publish it to Power BI Service and schedule refresh. Let me know if it resolves    Regards Inderdeep Singh   ... View more

Flexible stacking is available on MS425 switches, which do not have dedicated stacking ports; any SFP+ interface on these switches can be configured as a stack port. You can use 2 x 10Gb/s (SFP+) or 2 x 40Gb/s (QSFP) interfaces can be connected together as flexible stacking ports. Have a look on the below document ad let me know if it answer your query ? https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Stacking/Switch_Stacks#Configuring_a_Flexible_Switch_Stack    Regards Inderdeep Singh www.thenetworkdna.com  ... I may expect, But try this   When a tunnel drops, it's route is dropped as well, along with all affected sessions. Consequently, the outgoing traffic to the remote private network is sent out along the default route, usually through the WAN interface.   But, the Fortigate will establish a session for it, as there is a valid policy from LAN to WAN, destination ALL. Now when the tunnel comes back up, there is already a current session which has to time out first before a new session through the tunnel can be established. This causes a major delay in the data flow.   May be FIX  Create blackhole routes for traffic to RFC 1918 subnets, that is, 192.168.0.0/24, 172.16.0.0/12, 10.0.0.0/8 among others. These routes need to have a distance of 254 (not 255!) in order to kick in when there is no better route available. The route will be used when the tunnel goes down and traffic will be discarded; NO session is established. When the tunnel comes up again, a new session can be built right away, without any delay. ... View more
