Yes ARD is ok most of the time but has never been 100% solid in my use. The "task Server" feature was a flop and never really worked. My team looked at it about 3-4 years ago, it was very buggy and difficult to get working. In the end we scrapped the project. We have also used Radmind but that was also scrapped as was far to difficult to maintain.    At the moment we don't use anything as its mandatory that we upgrade everyones OS every 12 months. Any minor application updates the end user is able to deal with.    Its not ideal but the best we have found so far. I am looking at System Manager as a way of doing this.      ... View more

As a SonicWall user myself Meraki is a wee way behind when it comes to content filtering and features. The main reason for this that I can think of is time, SonicWall have been around for a lot longer than Meraki and their ONLY product line is security appliances...   I wouldn't say its comparing Apples with Apples. I'm not being nasty to Meraki I'm simply saying give it time, building a single product line from scratch is a real feat let alone a whole range of products!   To Meraki's credit they do offer free trials of all their products which gives the user a chance to use the product before they purchase.     ... Both have their pros and cons.    As @Uberseehandel has mentioned that information in that article explains exactly where you data is stored and how its accessed.    At the end of the day remember that traffic and Data is not stored in Meraki Cloud only configuration and log information.     ... You have to remember that Meraki are late to the party when it comes to CCTV. Axis and Hikvision as well as everyone else has year of experience already under their belt.    Features like facial recognition and license plate recognition and the likes will be rolled out slowly I would imagine. ...
