Hi @WesleyR I’ve always stuck with this quote from Meraki’s licensing documentation: Can I have an MX with Advanced Security and an MX with Enterprise in a single organization? No. An organization must consist of only one type of license: Secure SD-WAN Plus, Advanced Security, or Enterprise (MX). I don’t see anything mentioned in their MX subscription licensing documentation that’s states otherwise

You won’t like the answer but have you considered a site survey? Whilst you may have great coverage etc now those new APs may operate differently. You may require more APs than you currently have or the reverse.

What’s connected to the remote end? Do you have visibility at that end? Any light coming out of the port at that end? What fibre is running between both ends also?

Hi @Mabouzid , I’ve used some weird and wonderful sfps in these boxes with minimal fuss. Have you tried swapping the fibre heads round on your fibre patch lead?

I’m sensing that they’re not out in the wild as yet or they’re a very well kept secret. Im looking at a deployment of 6.5k APs so I’m on the fence with either on-prem 9800 or Meraki CAmpus Gateway. I’ll await the “it depends on what you want to do questions. 😄

Same response as per your other post: This is probably as simple as your firewall is blocking DNS traffic from your switch/Meraki management VLAN. Start at the firewall and see what’s being blocked.
